I know about 10 people who had broken collarbones. Motorcycle accidents all I bought a pickup as I don't want to be in your shoes. Some people came out ok. Some not. One had to go back to the states and buntungrad had to give him his money back. I saw the x-ray it looked like chicken wire. It would really depend on the faith that you have in the doctor. One grind has been through three operations and one shoulder is lower than the other still. Good luck brother.

That is why Benito Sutheppi is so popular with some posters here!!
He is increasing the value of their pensions!
The rice scheme has a way higher influence than all of Sutheps actions. Any idea where that scheme came from?

Yes, commonly used in developed countries. The US provides subsidies to most agriculture crops since food in necessary for all of the citizens of that country. You must do everything in your power to see that the farmers keep farming, because without them...well obviously you know the answer to this. It takes a special person to be a farmer, and it is usually passed down from generation to generation. You don't see business people deciding to become farmers. Don't force farmers to become bankers, because you will not have anyone to grow your food supply.
I must say that the Thai government made the wrong decision to pay subsidies and then thinking they could raise the price of rice on the world market. Sheer lunacy. They should have just risen taxes to support the subsidies and be done with it. Thinking they could move the market price of rice around the world was their downfall here, and made it seem like the entire program (scheme) was faulty. Not so, just their implementation. They were correct in supporting the farmer. (And no, I have never been a farmer. You could never get me to work that hard for so little.)
The US supports corn crops, as coca cola uses corn syrup and the oil industry uses ethanol. It is a corprotocracy, money talks. they sing for the rich.

This is really part of the climate change problem. Too much hot air being blown into the atmosphere.

They started renting these powerful bikes within the past few years, Pattaya has more bars per square kilometer than I think anywhere in the world. I would love to see comparative statistics to road deaths before big bikes and after them. It is a pity that this young man died at 26, but the problem is he could have taken innocent people with him. It is in the name of greed that this happened. He may have been drunk when he rented it, I think that if there are a few baht to be made it would not matter to the renter.

I wonder what the equation is to lost revenue as everybody leaves town against the cost of alternative methods of land cultivation.

If you come to thailand on a non o three month visa, they do not require a police report if you apply for your retirement visa here, at least they haven't in chiang mai, they do if you apply in the US.
