It's just an artificial distinction by humans, this is an old nonsense argument- if we were not eating them they would not exist, if they only exist for you to eat better not to exist at all and bypass all that suffering. Sure, livestock has been artificially bred, but no animal has been cross bred more than dogs and no animal has any more right to live without suffering and not being eaten by us than any others.

But neutering is not carried out on a scale that reduces the population, it merely slows the growth down. Then most of these pests are still around the sois barking, crapping and bitting. Soi dog foundation has over 20 years only done about 100 mutts a day on average, like trying to empty a sinking boat with a cup. Makes people feel better believing neutering is an answer, in practice it has not been.

How do you expect them to process asylum claims on a pack of lies? They throw away passports, phones then give false names and a fake story of 'persecution' often from a country they have never even been to. Unless they have a passport claims should be rejected straight away, and the liar deported.

One of my friends back in the UK used to process asylum claims, she said 95% were fake. She ought to know as originally she was an illegal over stayer who managed to claim 'asylum'. As soon as she got leave to remain she went back to Africa on a holiday. While here as an illegal she not only got a job and an NI number but an upmarket housing association flat in London. Asylum is mainly just a scam

Unless it's a sleeper I am never going on a Thai train again. Last time 13 hours on an 'express' from Ubon to Bkk, carriages looked 70 years old. Stopped at almost every station for vendors to get on- then off, 45 mins down the line repeat. Window jammed fully open, guard could not move it. Bit of string over the open connect door at the end where a foreigner fell out of recently to his death, and all the doors tied back for some reason. They have that flashy new station, but the rest looks like it's still in the 1950's.

This seems to get reported quite often, one airline will refuse and another sees no problem. Usually the damage is almost invisible

Reminds me of when we moved in to this house and had an 'electrician' installing a shower. Told the mrs to tell him to make sure it was earthed, he wanted to know what that meant!

Few and far between here, especially electricians. We helped the Mrs brother through college to become an electrician a few years back. He seemed clueless when we asked him anything about electrical problems and ended up working illegally in Korea.

We helped an American guy do it at Samut Prakan. They said his TM30 printout from the hotel was not enough, they wanted the receipt from the hotel detailing payment. He had 4 forms to fill out, my Mrs did it all for him as being his first visit he was a bit lost. Being a black guy he had some sad stories of the way he had been treated here and said it was a bit like Georgia in the 60's.
