Every year I go to get the letter from the same bank for immigration extension. To make it easy I show then a copy of last years, normally the first one stares at it as if it's in Chinese, then passes it on. Often 3-4 workers look at it before someone senior knows what to do for another one! When I wanted to get the bank app working it took them over 2 hours and several tries, that's not an exaggeration. Anything other than deposit and withdrawal is a puzzle for most.

Almost got the terminal. After a colonoscopy at the general in Leicester went back for the results. Nurse took me into the Drs room, sat me on one of those examination couches and stayed with me. I could hear two Drs in the next room off talking about how serious this case was and probably terminal but what they would try and do in surgery. Must have looked shaken as the nurse asked me if I was alright. After a few minutes one came into the room, picked up a folder and said well good news nothing except a few polyps, see you next time. Of course I thought they had been talking about me all the time, what a relief.
