    I got an 80% refund from Holiday Inn Sukhumvit, 20% deducted for 'bank fees'. never knew banks charged that much for a simple refund! better than nothing

    Being back in the uk for the first time in years reminds me oof the great variety of food in the shops and at far lower prices than in Thailand. You can keep the nasty sweet rubbish over there, give me apple pie and custard over that any day!

    Got Macbook air, fastest and best built laptop I have ever used. However cannot get it to print to a canon G2010 printer as not supported by Apple or Canon, is there a way around this? Also on Win OS when viewing picture files you can just keep forward clicking to view more, in a folder or on the desktop, on mac you seem to have to keep opening them. up one at a time which is a pain. Is there a way around this?

    Yeah, they are all gentle until your back is turned and they rip a kiddies face off. Should be a worldwide ban on these monsters. If they are so soft why do they always seem to have names like fury, fang, tyson and storm?

    Mrs bought one for 120 baht last month, won 4k. Shop deducted over 100 baht to pay out. Must be one of the worst value lotteries in the world. Underground one I have known people not to get paid as the agent kept the money and did not enter the numbers.

    Lamyai one of the best concerts acts around, saw her last in Feb, knockout

    Unusual to have Tai and Olowee together. Only saw Olawee twice, definitely the premier lukrung singer of modern times and very nice when I saw her. She's from Phra Samut Chedi Samut Prakan. Tai is from Ubon, wonderful recording artist, but not very entertaining on stage.

    Saw him a few times, not a favourite, do like mee mai dek though. Few old singers passed recently, Sornphet and Wai Pot also.

    Speculation, nothing will be decided until after song kran. How will they manage to do 100's of tests at the airport at the same time?

    No woman with fake bits is really cute, the nose looks like it's plastic, weird how so many here want a nose job. The mrs is always going on about it, that is when I bring up divorce!
