You feel ‘proud’ living in Central Pattaya? I certainly wouldn’t feel proud walking around there with my mum. Nice street in the U.K? Come on. ???? Central Pattaya is not beautiful; not by a long chalk. When I stayed there, I at least went for beachfront and rooms with lots of windows and airflow. The newness of the accommodation wasn’t an issue. My accommodations still had a landline telephone. It had character. Better than those cheaply constructed soulless shoe boxes they cram in these days. No airflow; just sweat boxes when the air conditioning is off.

That looks like the one opposite Buddy’s Met a German girl who was sitting exactly there ???? ???? Used some years of my life on that ☺️ -
Seems relatively poor value. Especially as you state it will be higher next year. The fact that you wrote ‘central’ leads me to think that you are way back on Third Road somewhere. I remember when I first visited Pattaya, the girls were scared to walk down Bua Khao due to bag snatching and Third Road’s biggest feature were places you could go fishing. For me the point of staying in a resort town is to be near the sea. To hear the sound of the sea. Not to stay in a soulless place that could be anywhere.

Actually I see it the other way around. No way would I stay in such a place as a young person. Look at it from the point of view of how the older people would live in their home country. If from a country with a colder climate, they might have a more restricted lifestyle during winter months. Also quality of life there on a limited income. I watched a terribly sad program the other day with regard to pensioners on a limited income, afraid to turn up the heating. Living in a place such as VT2b, no heating required and a more active life is possible throughout the year. Plus affordability brings a better quality of life. A younger person may have different priorities. They might want a penthouse at the sea filled with a bevy of beauties. So don’t judge, just find your place.

This article; https://thehill.com/homenews/house/3910467-comer-agrees-it-could-be-politically-unsustainable-to-investigate-kushner/ certainly goes against what you suggested; that the Democrats decided that there was nothing to see. Were you trying to ‘gaslight’ me? Cut the BS and back up any future assertions with published material from an accredited source. Not just your made up nonsense.
-
I’m not from the USA. So Republicans/Democrats mean nothing to me. Though interesting to note your ‘knee jerk’ reaction. But, further to your comments with regard to “Dem Congress oversight…” perhaps you can provide us with a link to published information with regard to your claim that they have decided that there is “nothing to see”. From what I’ve actually read, the Democrats were pushing for a subpoena. Have you got anything that confirms your statement? Personally I think that you are being economical with the truth. https://time.com/6313894/biden-impeachment-jared-kushner-saudi-wealth-fund/ Described as a ‘grift’. In your reply you can drop the insinuations of left and right, since I have no idea who supports what in US politics. I just say what I see. So come back with facts, as opposed to attempts at mudslinging. It looks dodgy. Keep to Trump/Kushner. Don’t try to deflect to something completely unrelated. Ironic, since you opened trying to accuse me of deflection. Ridiculous person. Get serious and discuss intelligently.

Because I’d like to be able to read and perhaps join some interesting conversation from time to time. But so much of the time it’s just childish idiocy.

You’re a bit premature. He found his current wife there afterwards. They had been together for five years by the time that video was released.

It’s normal for people to consider their options. So far, nothing has happened. It’s just you extrapolating your ‘doom and gloom’ again.

Thank you for so quickly confirming what I thought of you in the first instance. At least now I’m sure to not waste more time with such a foolish endeavour. -

Or it could be that I’m simply not interested in engaging in useless pastimes. Did you really imagine that I would define ‘normal’ to your satisfaction? In all seriousness, ‘normal’ can cover a wide spectrum. -
Sexual violence al a Russell Brand?

I agree. Like when arresting people for driving a nice car when black: They claimed they might have seen him using his mobile phone. Threatened to smash his windows whilst his wife and child were also sitting in the car and then later pulled the usual trick of pretending they smelled marijuana in his car. Both competitive athletes subject to drug testing. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12570013/ricardo-dos-santos-police-video.html Just two out of at least ten times that he has been pulled over.

I haven’t hitched a wagon on to unpleasant negativity if that’s what you mean by ‘caught on’. I’d rather have bliss than the abject misery in which so many here choose to live, no matter how much they have. My dentist is GREAT. Honest and kind, at least with me.

My dentist was in a hospital. Excellent.

Any Internet connection? Some Older condo Internet is still 30/10 & and 50/20. Some people use mobile Internet…

I used a foreign CC with them…
-
Nonsense… You just try to spread your unpleasant negativity whilst presenting it as a fait accompli. Experience with my dentist says otherwise.
