Perhaps you can explain what the average debt laden middle class woman has to do with a question about the life of a retiree? It was just a spurious comment meant to inflame. Childish, as are many of your posts on this forum. Why is that? Hypocrisy? I think you will find that I am equally critical to any outlandish behaviour from any party. Demonstrate hypocrisy on my part, at least before using a term that you clearly do not understand.

Rubbish! I just gave a personal example of why what you are asserting is total ???? Spending more money would not increase the quality of my life. I certainly don’t have a house by the sea in my home country. So how can you assert that I have ‘a limited lifestyle by western standards’. I don’t know ANYONE in the U.K. who might eat out every single day, including the freshest seafood, live in a luxury house by the sea, nit have to work…. You are posting absolute nonsense. I’m shocked that someone could post such absolute nonsense without having their tongues placed firmly in their cheeks. And yes, I’ve lived by the sea in many countries.

I hope that I already answered your question. No one is leading a perfect and blameless life. We are all trying to live the best lives we can, with what we have. Personally I think BMT lives a life that many might envy. Who are you to try to bring him down? It’s repugnant behaviour. If it walks like a duck… So wind it in.

Challenge? Do you think him trying to insult and deride another member of the forum is something that should go unanswered? If you wish to write irrelevant nonsense, then be prepared for a backlash. Be a man and take your medicine. It’s frankly pathetic how the man parades his wife as some form of trophy. Puke inducing. As to yourself, I can only speak for myself. Due to my lifestyle of not having to support any woman financially, I have a very nice life within that budget. That doesn’t mean that I cannot spend more or less. But I’m sure that I frequently spend less. So accept when people describe their experiences or be prepared to be looked on with derision for your lack of intelligence and understanding.

Perhaps you should consider that pensioners aren’t thinking about marriage, children and travel when they move to Thailand, nor talking to some idiot who is prying into their private life. Perhaps they think you are an insurance salesman. Personally, I spend less than I spent many years ago, as my current accommodation costs 33% of my former accommodations and I live in spacious luxury beachfront accommodation. Neither am I a pensioner. I probably spend less than 60k on average. My life most certainly would not be regarded as basic, anywhere in the world. Your post is mainly speculative nonsense and unpleasant negative projection. If someone states that they are doing okay on 40k, why do you need to stick your nose in further?

Interesting that he didn’t have a problem with it until his self proclaimed ‘genius’ failed to solve the issue of ‘remove Adblocker or pay for Premium’. The perils of proclaiming yourself a genius…. -
You could just as easily write; some are good with money and some are not. What is a ‘basic life’? It’s really a nonsense from you. I met an American girl in Thailand not so long ago and as I talked about my life, she suddenly exclaimed, “You’re living the dream….. and you have a …..!!!(referring to my mode of transport at the time). What you might regard as a ‘basic life’ can be a dream for a normal person from even a first world country. All you are really doing is illustrating your own failings.

Will you put your money where your mouth is and actually send money directly to the producers? I don’t think that you will. Just more empty rhetoric. You want it all for free. Just admit it. What do you provide to others for free? Do you upload any useful academic work or music that you have created for others to enjoy? You have a way to contribute. Buy a premium subscription for as little as 55 baht per month. -
It’s sad that you view my posts as ‘boastful’. I view them as normal and open. If it’s my experience as not ever needing to pay a woman for ‘sex’, I was not aware that I needed to hide that truth from those who decided to pay. This is a place of discussion. There is no boasting nor an intention to boast. That is your creation.

Sex partners…. Your obsession with this is somewhat embarrassing. Though perhaps not in the way that you might imagine. It may be that you don’t care, but think about what you reveal here…. You don’t want love from a woman, only sex. Your wife doesn’t cook for you nor your son. Your wife doesn’t clean up either. You are making it sound as if your wife is simply a sex slave. The way you describe it; banging them. Somewhat ironic that you try to suggest that in my relationships the fact that we take care of each other regardless of financial input that is somehow ‘slavery’. Obviously quite the opposite. So seriously, stop ‘banging on’ about having sex as if you’ve won the top prize. It’s painful to read and frankly, embarrassing.

Of course she would expect something in return. That doesn’t have to be M O N E Y. Your assumption is possibly associated with the kind of women with whom you’ve been associated. Seek and ye shall find. BMT found for what he was looking. Good for him. That doesn’t mean that everyone is looking for the same thing. But his schoolboy declarations of how often he can have sex are painful to read, for rather obvious reasons to which he appears oblivious.

What's your opinion on this? Jordan Peterson on IQ

Just an observation. I say what I see. -
I’ll give you an example. Stuck in during the pandemic, I decided to look at TF to keep up some level of communication. Got chatting to a teacher there and told her about my penchant for honey. She insisted on obtaining the best forest honey from her local province when she went home to visit her parents. Spent 250 baht on it. This without even meeting her. I could give more examples… Just normal.

You possibly won’t believe it, but quite often the first to buy a gift is the woman. She might not have been the first to act, but often they are the first to buy a gift and sometimes the first to buy dinner. This is one of the things on which I agree with spidermike007….. take your time. Remember the lyrics…. “Wise men say, only fools rush in…”
