  1. Write the business expense off your income tax
  2. What does it matter? I could make up a a few unrelated conditions on the spot. Would that make me more credible? Would that pass as evidence? However, the Thai insurance story is mine and completely 100% correct. I know I could appeal it, but why would I waste time on this nonsense? I would rather self insure. This way I am in control and everything is 100% on me.
  3. Here's a direct answer to your question with no guesswork. Had insurance with Aetna with pre existing condition(nothing serious). Got denied a procedure which was in no way even remotely connected to the pre existing condition. Since then I don't bother with insurance at all. Even if I could fight it is it even worth the stress lying in a hospital bed hoping for these bloodsuckers to pay?
  4. I can assure you the parts are garbage. My wife has been working for a Japanese supplier here for the past 2 decades. All the parts are from China and they don't pass high speed test rigs.
  5. But but MG is different.... as good as Honda
  6. But this is not a clinic, this is a full hospital. Anyway I did some research and it seems the hospital OP went to is one of the very few grandfathered private hospitals.
  7. I am under the impression that just like work permit, you are supposed to surrender your visa after the divorce. Of course, probably no one does it, but legally that is the fact. The letter is requested when you apply for a non-o visa. So even if you are legally married and your wife says she doesn't want you back, your visa will be refused.
  8. That's funny. Because I have been told the exact opposite a few years back by Tod Daniels in one of those Facebook forums that he moderates. To be fair I am not sure if it was you or that other mate of Tod Daniels who quickly proclaims that the topic is closed for discussion once someone else has another opinion. In any case the immigration now wants a letter from your spouse confirming that you are still married and living together. I would fire that "lawyer" of his as he is 100% INCORRECT
  9. Can you explain something to me. This hospital is in Ontario Canada. As far as I know no private hospitals are allowed to operate in Ontario. Or was this a non resident fee charge in which case it should be the same for everyone. Do you have OHIP card?
  10. Excellent article for AseanNow aging population
  11. What does reformatting your hard drive have to do with your google account? I think your google account was compromised in which case you should contact google, however, they just might disable your account and you will lose everything stored there,
  12. Well, I really want to know if UK, for example as he claims really only gets bottom of the barrel entry level chemo for its citizens while the rest who can pay get this amazing tailored chemo therapy.
  13. Yep it's creepy.
  14. If you come from one of the countries that offer "free" healthcare to its citizens is this video true? I know some can't stand this guy, the others think he's god. I just wanna know if the statement is true or not. https://vt.tiktok.com/ZS8jSaY8a/
  15. I don't believe it
  16. Try Gaviscon advance. Yes, it does not "prevent" reflux, but it is a very good treatment. I always take it at night and just live with mild reflux during the day. And to be clear, not the green Gaviscon, or the purple dual action. Advance only. It really works the best. It is expensive, but you can find it cheaper on shopee or one of those non branded Thai pharmacies (usually the place where people line up) at around 325 baht.
  17. Your preferred branch knows you. The other does not. This is really nothing to get upset about in Thailand. This is normal everyday situation for many people. Banks in Thailand have million stupid rules you know nothing about.
  18. The only hotel in the entire Thailand where I got food poisoning.
  19. In a bit of a panic mode right now. Have I been doing it wrong?
  20. Yea.... Didn't expect your post to get many likes by stating the facts. Most of my Thai wife's friends are exactly as you described. Met at university, both work, probably have a higher combined income than 90% of retirees in Thailand. Extremely hard working that don't usually fit the stereotypes thrown here.
