  1. No. I came because I could not get laid. Still. Thai food is junk.
  2. A lot of people think good Thai women live in a hoe central such as thonglor and ekkamai. Yes maybe some, but it's not in a condo.
  3. Maybe he can't afford a fan
  4. Love all the none of your business replies. Equally it's none of your business if op decides to tell him or not.
  5. If you don't know the source of yield you are the yield
  6. You are even more confused than I thought. Man I don't even know where to start. Definitely if you have to ask on this forum you don't have it. My wife is middle class, not hiso and she has plenty of connections. Most of those were made when she was studying at the university here in Bangkok. I don't want to "brag" what connections and from where, but they would get me out of jail or more. However, you must be under some grand delusion that these connections are "free". Another delusion is that you think for some reason that woman with such connection would marry a no name Farang. Hint number 2. Why do you think famous actresses and models often marry a police officer or military here even though they earn much less than them? OMG, I must be a victim of a troll.
  7. You are confused. There is a massive difference between a Hiso girl and a woman who comes from a good family. So, what do you want because I can almost guarantee you that you don't stand a 0.000001% chance with a "hiso" woman. Hint: Even girls from good families won't touch a guy who comes and goes from Thailand with a 6 foot pole. As an experienced guy like yourself who dates a lot have you not noticed that "good" women will always ask you if you are a tourist in Thailand before they go on a date with you?
  8. I would tell him. I don't want dumb people areound me.
  9. I am noticing this for several years now and I don't think my head is playing with me. After a few days of bad pollution I always get very very mild smell of something burning.... and I think it comes from air-conditioner. No matter where I go, my place or somebody's else place it is always there. It feels like a smell from a put down cigarette in another room.
  10. I have been exposed!
  11. I never pay her bills.
  12. Makes no difference
  13. No work permit now, deported soon
  14. Thanks for that. Something to look forward to
  15. My wife slammed the finger with a car door. It started to look bad after a few days. The whole nail turned purple. She went to the hospital and insisted not to have the nail removed. Instead they took an x-ray and poked some holes in the nail to clear the puss. Price 4,300 baht. The hospital was nothing fancy private hospital a bit run down. I checked the bill afterwards. 1100 for thumb x-ray. I remember paying a 500b for x-ray a few years back at some fancy marble lobby hospital. Shocked. 2000 specialist fee. I think medpark is cheaper, but whatever. 1200 for a painkiller haha She told me she has accident insurance and will get refunded. I wait in anticipation to see that as this was a telesales insurance that costs her 189 baht a month. She said they paid before, so lets see.
  16. It is always so easy to bash Western nations when Thai government is always hiding something. From your own link. https://www.iqair.com/us/thailand/bangkok "However, despite the readings classing it at a moderate level, there are times when it crosses rapidly over this line to significantly worse pollution with levels of PM2.5 and other contaminants found lingering in the air. A large number of schools were closed in January of 2019, an unprecedented order at the time because the level of air quality has only something that has recently been made more transparent and available for the average citizen, as well as the government keeping a closer eye on it."
  17. Simon is going back because of a serious medical issue which treatment was denied by insurance company. I have been saying that insurance here is not good, but what surprised me was that his insurance is not a Thai based insurance.
  18. Yep. It is truly Cr@pola Lots of cheap purifiers on Lazada.
  19. I have been here 10 years bud. The pollution really started getting bad around 1-2 years before covid. Before that the joke was always on Chiang Mai.... now it is practically all over Thailand. I am not "elderly" yet and the pollution has no present effect on me whatsoever. That doesn't mean I am dumb regarding the issue.
  20. I have seen the posts in the past with maps where there is burning going on. Can someone point me to the link. I don't think I can stay here in my old age if this continues for more than 2 weeks per year,
  21. Paying 600,000 baht to do a 90 day report. Let me guess, you also bought a 30 year leasehold pool villa?
  22. They will have to now. This is exactly why PayPal is not allowing anyone to register unless they provide a tax id. Again, this was not PayPal decision, I remember 20 years ago Canadian government went after eBay sellers for not declaring their income. eBay protested giving out customer information as it was invasion of privacy. In the end they could not argue against the government and had to comply. Do you really thing these companies what to lose the business? People are so quick to trash the company without even bothering to research a full story.
  23. Couldn't breathe last night. 180 in Bangkok
