A non what? Squirter?

Yes, apologies. This was all through a private insurer. How much would she have to wait if she needed to have endoscopy/colonoscopy using social insurance? Can you upgrade a room to private room using social insurance? What about any follow-ups? I think my wife never used social insurance because she always worked and to be fair, for smaller outpatient claims were always paid by her employer.

I am not blaming anyone for staying in Thailand. I just call out people when they write lies.

I mentioned this many times before, but here it goes again... Wife working for 25 years. The health insurance cover is not enough. To get any decent cover you also need to add life insurance. So in total my wife is insured by 30 baht scheme, social insurance, life insurance that she was paying for 25 years, her own out of pocket health insurance that she has also been paying for 25 years, her employer health insurance AND she also has accident insurance she pays 170 baht a month which I admit came in handy a few times. So even with all this insurance she still has to pay out of pocket numerous times. The latest example. She was covered for endoscopy/colonoscopy BUT only because she was admitted. If she wasn't - 0 cover. Her insurance paid for meds after she left the procedure, but when they found h pylori bacteria she had to pay 8000 baht for antibiotics out of pocket. She has been trying to get her insurance to pay for tonsils removal for the past 5 years. They don't wanna pay even if doctor recommended. When she had to do mammogram she paid out of pocket. When she has to check for cancer in her vagina ...she had to pay out of pocket.

I go back to Canada chief.... I haven't been to Serbia in 32 years. But even if it was Serbia, the food and prices are superior to anything here on offer.

Funny. I start a thread asking if Thailand is good value for money and get attacked by bootlickers. Yet..... Another day another whinge about prices, pensions, dual pricing, imported foods, TAT, road accidents, expensive hospital bills, national parks, bar fines.... I think most of you have been here so long, you forgot how well stocked grocery stores are back home. And cheap. Healthy, yummy food at good prices. I know, because I go back every year. But most of you choose to watch YouTube for news just like losers back home who think you can live in Thailand on $1000 a month.

That's bi-winning -
Things are not that bad back home. At least these people that can go bankrupt any day still have some support. Unlike Thailand where people use agents to deposit money for long term visa. That is much worse than living paycheck to paycheck.

You mention restaurants here are fine, but they are not. Thais cover their meals with some of the worst and unhealthiest sauces on the planet. Let's not even mention the disgusting oil. CNA did a report in Singapore and pretty much concluded that vendors only change oil once a week. You think Thailand is better? If I order on Grab or go to a restaurant I will always look for a place that does not mix some of their disgusting sauces with the meal. The chicken steak you refer to mis a hit and miss in Thailand. If that Chicken steak comes with a salad it is a given that it will always arrive with the most disgusting mays sauce available. So, BAD value for money because it costs you your health. I do have more confidence in McDonald's.

The power of prayer. You will be amazed just how much is forgiven just after one lil' prayer. I will just leave it at that.

They appreciated more than msrp at the time. Will your electric? I don't think so. And I did not start this thread saying I dislike electric. Just that the value will plunge much faster than ICE. I mean it is pretty bloody obvious just after a few years. -

Do you think now would be a good time to buy a BYD, put it in the garage and wait 50 years for the value to go up? -
How do you pay?
Celsius replied to garygooner's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
bank app and credit card. The only thing I use cash for is to pay for toll as some still don't accept the card. -
The topic is best memory of Thailand. Is that yours?

No, they are much, much worse than banks. -
It was during my second divorce in 2019 just before the virus. Me and wifey had an argument, so she kicked me out for a few days. After a week she stopped replying. After 2 weeks I said screw it I'm going on Tinder. I meet a super crazy controlling career woman in her 30s. She was absolutely insane....on a power trip both in bed and real life. She literally locked me in her condo while she was at work only to use me afterwards. I felt like a caged animal....and I loved it! However, all of a sudden my wife decides to start communicating. Being a guy that I am and can't lie, I tell her about my current gig. She goes absolutely crazy....apechit. In 6 years I never seen her like this. She demands her Line account. I say why not. Wifey says she is going to sue her because she was still married. The control freak starts bitching at her why did you let him go??? It was back and forth for about 2 weeks. The BEST part is that I was NEVER blamed for anything. I was just an innocent victim of a woman who needed to fulfill her needs. After this I continued my tinder adventures until I met my current wife. My Chinese wife is super religious Christian and she prayed every day for Farang husband. COVID struck and there were lockdowns. She took me to Amphur, paid an agent 10,000 baht to get us married on the spot and thanked god for bringing the deadly virus upon this planet so she could finally get married. What is your best memory of Thailand?

How different do you think Thai customer service would handle your complaint? -
If Thailand offered that, I would not be taking supplements.
