  1. I see foreigners in Japan buying houses for $6,000. Yes it's in the boonies with declining population, but houses are relatively nice and Japan is a livable place with good infrastructure. No trickery as the foreigner can own a land and house in full. How does that compare to soi dog Farang building a 5 million baht house in the rice fields of Isaan for his bargirl that he will never own (a house and a bargirl). Discuss
  2. Another proof that every old man that comes to Thailand is a virgin.
  3. So until 10,000 is received she will continue selling at a loss?
  4. there are no 90% discounts, just the usual junk worth between a nickel and a dollar
  5. old age security. he is correct 20 years. 10 years is for guaranteed income supplement, but you don't get that if you don't live in Canada.
  6. I am Canadian who is married to a Thai citizen and last year she received her Canadian permanent residency. We went to Canada and returned back to Thailand because she has a relatively high paying job in Thailand. Your post is full of ridiculous inaccuracies and before you start blasting immigrants about their easy access to Canada maybe you should realize that if it wasn't for them (especially those pesky HK Chinese who bought overpriced real estate) Canada would be in worse place than mexico with no healthcare and no social security. Canada is in business of importing immigrants...that's what it does to survive. Our application took 2 years to be approved. We paid around $3000 to hire an immigration lawyer to do it for us. You can do the application yourself, but there is a lot of things that can be confusing and every wrong entry/missing signature will delay the application further. You do not need any financial requirements to sponsor your wife. However you will need a lot of proof and the application itself is a lot of work. They do ask for a lot of evidence. My had valid US visa and Australian visa before we applied and yes it would be difficult for her to get a tourist visa if she is married simply because immigration officer would suspect she would not leave.
  7. Are you not the guy with genital herpes?
  8. I am shocked at how many of you use prostitutes. What a bunch of losers.
  9. I would vote Trump, but do people seriously think Algeria recognizes trans men. Dumb thread, so maybe I'd vote Kamala
  10. So a dentist ruined your teeth and you're angry at me. Another leftie
  11. title says 100k baht, the article says 70k baht, so most likely most of his friends are lying and making 35k a month.
  12. I never understood the anonymous search engine. The government can easily spy using the internet providers.
  13. I guess Americans nut elsewhere
  14. Are there any cats in the video?
  15. A sad emoji is ok from you
  16. A dentist in On Nut where every dental clinic is named Smile or Sawadee. Oh dear. Good dentists are in Silom, specifically Thanaya Plaza, not On Nut. Another quality expat!
  17. one minute too much
  18. Unfortunately, due to wife's work we had to move close to On Nut. Not too close, but still close enough. Since I first saw Thailand with my own eyes, On Nut always seemed sketchy to me. I mean as the name implies, you are just there to nut, but over the years it has become a ground zero for losers around the world. First, let us observe Tesco Lotus near On Nut station. Why is it that every white dude, in their 20's all the way to their 70's brings their hooker to shop for vegetables? It just screams "look at my trophy, I am so cool". Only if "The food court" - probably the hub of all the bacteria and microbes collected around the world brought to you by a budget airline. The place is just disgusting to look at' let alone eat.... and I don't blame Thais for this. "The cool spots" - like the W district. Yeah, right..... another hooker central and occasional Gen Z crowd who think they are hanging out with "cool" Thais while in fact they are interacting with hookers. Did I mention prostitutes? You would think Nana and Soi Cowboy are a mecca of illicit activity, but you would be wrong. Cheap condos. Man o man.... the travesty of bad maintenance just screams here. Surrounded by great developers who like to name their condo "Idiot" this would be a great place to observe at what happens when you buy a place to live in Thailand. Of course, there are no malls – as a seasoned and cool Farang, you must hate malls. You've been here too long, and mingling with your Thai friends is part of the cool vibe. But let's be honest, malls are fantastic and there aren't any near On Nut. Tesco and Century Plaza don’t count – after all, Century Plaza is a plaza, not a mall. Just think about it... even the outskirts have big, impressive malls. So why not have one in On Nut? Edit... already a few sad emoji from people who live in On Nut
  19. No, it is August 2nd, but you are in Thailand.
