  1. What a strange tax law and it seems to change a lot. It used to be 80% standard deduction, 60% standard deduction and according to PWC is will be 50% standard deduction this year with a max limit of 100,000 baht. It seems like the party is over and it will just get worse for small business owners paying tax getting little in return.
  2. Yea you would probably be kidnapped
  3. I have never seen this world of taxation rules where business owners are given a choice not to provide receipts and claim the almost unbelievable 60% deduction. Can you provide me with a link to this tax law in Thailand?
  4. I don't understand. She claims 60% expenses while true cost is 25%? Is that not tax fraud? Also she obviously doesn't make 1 million, that is her gross income.
  5. How many bumgun threads?
  6. What an eloquent way of saying you are better than me 🙂
  7. Thought prostitution was one of Thailand's top hubs
  8. Not a bast place to ask considering most are paying customers.
  9. What a vile thread
  10. Because you are too poor to move there, Just like a bunch of poor Thais would like to move to USA and Canada.
  11. Market food is better than restaurant food. I never got food poisoning in Thailand. END SARCASM
  12. 10,000 baht per 1 million.
  13. No booking site will refund you if the flight is delayed. Rich retirees whining about 6 baht cash back? If you booked a breakfast and got offered no breakfast it is hotel who is trying to scam you, Anything else?
  14. Maybe for you. I don't plan on paying taxes.
  15. Like when they post a picture with a mask on looking absolutely gorgeous, but you know the truth. I guess it was all just rumpy pumpy after all.
  16. Ahhh.... the surviving argument that could not be further from the truth.
  17. Do not take Bolt. Pay a bit more for Grab or simply take the train.
  18. I compared it and then you compared it. And I will continue comparing it because even my wife who has the best insurance in Thailand money can buy (Life insurance, company insurance, health insurance and social security that she paid in for the past 20 years) knows first hand that healthcare in Thailand sucks and more than 50% of the time her insurance does not even pay. Forgot to add accident insurance that she pays monthly. So that is 5 insurance policies.
  19. But yet here you comment on other aspects, mostly putting Thailand is such a positive spin. BTW, other countries have private healthcare too (called a 2-tier system), often cheaper than Thailand. No waiting lists and hospitals are fully insured against malpractice,
  20. What kind of a silly comment is this? Most places "back home" people have security, healthcare, no visa hassles, no 90 day reporting, full rights as citizens. If I am to go "back home" I would get free healthcare, free dental, various refund checks (carbon tax, GST). Then, of course, I could get a job or even better open my own company and work legally without any hassles or reporting or stress unlike in Thailand where they expect me to pay tax.
  21. Trust is earned over time while you are married. There are some things I would not do for my wife when I married her, but I would now. I WOULD STILL NEVER BUILD A HOUSE.
