bob smith replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Thats why i said i will probably know weeks in advance. I have friends who work in the banking sector in Thailand and mrs. Smiths childhood friend is an Economist who gives us advice. It’s all about getting your ducks in a row. -
Is Thailand heading towards an economic crisis?
bob smith replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Well said mate. No matter what I know I will be fine. Mrs Smith too. We have assets, cash, gold and investments. I will know probably a few weeks in advance before anything drastic does happen here as I keep my ear firmly to the ground. At that point, any remaining debts will be paid off and we will liquidate everything we own into USD. If things get really bad we will move to somewhere our cash takes us furthest. In such dire circumstances you have to look after you and yours, it’s every man for himself, dog eat dog. The 30’s are shaping up to be a rather depressing time imo. -
They are just jealous they dont have a strong passport like you. Let em be angry. You’ll soon be three sheets to the wind down your local!

Legally, there is nothing the hospital can do to stop a patient walking off the premises.

The fact is, any and all emergency cases admitted to almost any hospital worldwide are the responsibility of that hospital until discharged by a doctor. The alternative would be to have hordes of sick people dying in hospital foyers because they didn’t have the money for the emergency treatment that could have saved their lives. This is a predicament that hospitals actively try to avoid.

Thats a matter of opinion and you are entitled to yours. Try proving that in a court of law though. Not a chance big bird!

Just walk out the hospital when you feel better and fly home to get proper treatment. Tell em to stick the 400K! legally he doesn’t have to pay a penny. despite what anyone says, it is a hospitals duty to accept any and all emergency cases without question. Im not saying to walk out without paying is morally right, thats another story, but legally he doesn’t have to pay a cent.

what was there to criticize in the first place? Geezer said the forum sucks, I said you know where the door is. and you said so do I.... Why would I want to leave when I like it here and I don't think it sucks? and why did you feel it was necessary to stick your nose in? -
