Been to Vietnam several times, yes they have bad visa restrictions, due to illegals working there, but I have found the people to be some of the friendliest I have ever met.
younger people are far more educated, than Thailand, they seem genuinely happy to have me in their country. And their woman are by far heads above the Thai woman!
I have nothing but great things to say about the country.
I spend more time there now than Thailand.
have heard very very few negative things from any tourist or expats living there.
the males are very friendly, unlike the Thai men that thrive on beating foreigners and simply hate them!

It could be an inline check valve.
if the check valve is passing water, the pressure will drop causing the pump to activate.
I just replaced the check valve that was built into the pump, problem solved.????????♂️

I’ve rented Airbnbs aplenty, as far as being charged for illegal business?
????????????????
I’ve read about this for years! Nothing happens.
the owners simply tell me, if anyone asks, you’re my friend, I am not renting to you.
no law against friends or family staying at your place!
BTW, I always respect the property as if it were my own. And also the neighbors.

On Saturday night I went to XS. I found it very disappointing for girls. The quality just wasn't there. The whole of walking street seems to have seen a downgrade in fresh girls without lots of tatts and plastic boobs. There were two girls working there who visit me regularly. One came from Slutz on LK Metro. The other seems to change bars every month. I met her in Atlantis before covid.
Tonight (Sunday) I went to pinup. I thought the quality there was a lot better tonight. They pulled the 30 minute drink hustle on me when I still had half a soda in front of me so I left. I was the only farang in the bar.
Walking street is a big disappointment lately and seems to be not worth going to any more. It was quiet depressing. The few farangs I see there seem to be in the 40 to 50 age group. Asians are any age and in the majority. I saw two Russians touting for a Russian girls bar.
Then I walked down to LK metro. The average age was around 10 years older, very few Asians. No girls appealed to me. I walked down soi 8 back to beach road after that. The beer bars were depressing, much older guys just drinking and watching football with women around 40 to 50 in the main.
Next I walked along beach road to soi 6. Among the many Indians and Russians, I saw quite a few much older farangs wandering around, average age around 70 to 80's, many alone. I could see loneliness in their eyes and had a window of what was in store for me in the future. I was getting quiet depressed by this stage.
In soi 6 the talent was patchy but I thought much better than walking street in some cases. The customers there were mostly in the 50 to 60's age group. Tonight in soi 6 there was a guy collapsed in the street. The motorcycle riders told e he was just drunk. He had obvious advanced diabetes. Amazing how so many farangs abuse themselves like that.
Pattaya isn't what it was just a few short years ago.
Yes, I agree, the older expats get the thousand yard stare!
so much for the golden years !

I use it on pizza and it's great.
Just grind 3-4gm onto the cheese, add any other toppings, then cook at 190c for 15-20 minutes.
You must be using very low end weed!
if you were to use- eat 3-4 grams of Canadian bud, you would be incapacitated, period!

Such total nonsense. Do you know her, then? You're clearly stating that you're responsible for all the actions of your country, also, so which country is that?
All Russian people must be held accountable, innocent or not!
putin ain’t shootin!
it’s the Russian people that are committing the atrocities!
most are for the war!
guns don’t kill people, Russians kill people!
it’s their choice to pull the trigger, it’s in their blood to kill!

When you notice that it's raining everywhere outside, do you not carry an umbrella?
It's raining sugar on your food... asking for less sugar is your protection. Is it so hard?
Google Translate will help you with that.
It’s not just the sugar, have you ever watched a Thai cook? It’s nonstop adding this and that, splash of this, splash of that etc etc! Very unhealthy!

So this is about one's favorite food poisoning.
There is no such thing as good food in Thailand, at least if someone is looking for healthy food. Nobody knows how to cook, nobody.
Cheap bad oil, heated at a point where the oil gets toxic. Smell is horrible.
Then laced with sugar, lots of it. The only way that they know to give anything a flavor. All sauces are loaded with white sugar. Good oil, nah, too expensive for any Thai kitchen here. I use exclusively olive oil at home, and sometimes coconut oil. Nothing else.
So brace yourself for diabetes and arthritis. on the long run.
The odd chicken with rice, (no sauce please).
Otherwise, I will not eat any of that type of food. None.
And my health got so much better. ????
Picture of sugar stock at Super Cheap mini mart, on stocking day, and then some 10 days later. Not even a need to bring the sugar inside the store...
I tend to agree with your thinking, cheap ingredients and full of sugars etc. certainly not healthy.
best Thai food I have had was in Canada.
thai family owned restaurants using quality ingredients. And the health department doing regular inspections,( as in every establishment) then a grade is posted in the front window!
fabulous food.
bangkok does have great Thai restaurants but with this quality comes price!can’t expect much for 60-80 baht now can we?

Health is number one!

I'm afraid it's like they say you wanted cheap you got cheap.
I don’t think the high end expats of pattaya are in the least worried about pollution, it’s hookers and booze that are important!

The mistake many people make is in saying that the pollution doesn't 'bother' them, and thinking they're ok, because they're not coughing. Pollution increases the risk factor for multiple conditions, including strokes, which might not have symptoms until it's too late.
You nailed it!
10 ring!
yes the retiree’s try to convince other people ( not themselves) that they are living the dream and have made the correct decision for retirement.
When they know damn well, it’s polluted <deleted> hole!
