I want to try and get in better physical condition. I like cycling but cycling on the Thai Roads is too dangerous in my opinion. If I wanted to cycle on the path way next to the beach what section from south to north Pattaya would be best to cycle along. Will be cycling at about 6-7am. Ideally looking to do 4-5 km ride.

I need a UK sim card to receive texts from my bank so I can access my accounts. I will only need to access them about once every 2 weeks. If I get a GiffGaff Sim card do they charge a daily roaming charge like Vodafone when you switch your phone on which has the GiffGaff Sim Card in it.

Thanks for the link. There is 5 5G routers that have been reviewed. The prices are ranging from $462.00 to $996.00. Will wait until they get cheaper.

Its been mentioned that the single re-entry permit is 1000, multiple is 3800 and the 90 reporting is 1900. Does anybody know what the Thai Immigration charge for the Non 0 and the 12 month extension.

Great post. I was going to ask if the re-entry permit was valid from Non O through to end of 12 month extension. So if you will be leaving Thailand during the Non O stage of the process you will need to get 2 re-entry permits. One re-entry permit for the first 90 days and then another once you get the 1 year extension.

Thanks for the info. I read that the first time you get a retirement visa (extension to non O based on retirement) its for 15 months and also read on the forum that when you renew your retirement visa its always around your birthday. Is the first retirement for 15 months, the renewal upto your birthday on the following years and every renewal after that from your birthday to birthday.

With the retirement visa, what's the rules with entering and exiting Thailand, are you allowed a certain amount of exits and entries during the 12 month visa?

Still weighing up my options. A few years ago if you entered Malaysia with a UK passport you got a 90 day visa. Is this still the case.
