    Immigration is a department within the Royal Thai Police so yes, they exactly are law enforcement and I'm pretty certain they understand the law better than you or I. As for doing a better job differently: are you an experienced law enforcement specialist, do you have specialized knowledge and training about such things or it this merely a skill you acquired from playing with your Mr Junior Police Kit?

    I used to cross the Mexican border several times a month and often I would get the third degree, always on the US side mind you. I never had a problem with it, why would I, I hadn't done anything wrong. It's like getting pulled at Customs on the way back home, go for it lads, do your job I say.

    Who says the tourists are objecting, apart from the Pattaya Mail saying that there are some objections on social media. There will always be objections on social media about everything that is capable of ever being complained about. Immi has a job to do, be quiet and let them do get on with it, if you have ideas about how they might do it better, keep them to yourself, nobody is interested.

    If you go to their website and look under About Us and scroll down to certification, it appears the hospital is HA certified to level 2. Whether or not that means their lab is certified, is unclear. You should look for two things, one is accreditation of the lab, preferably done to international standards and two, certification of the lab technicians, without both of those things any claim to to quality is not reliable.

    Nobody wants to see HH become anything close to what Pattaya is now, that's the risk if easier access is allowed and the airport starts to take on flights. HH is very conservative and it shows, it was the summer residence of the previous king so the rules are slightly different than elsewhere. Long may they remain that way.
