    Well, I guess I am getting old. Bought a new phone today it only displays the English Pound symbol but not the dollar symbol I need for some of my passwords. Setting up the language it only has 1 setting and that is English I am OK with that, but it is missing the $ sign and only have the pound symbol. No American or Australin English, so what to do?

    So why are expats or even tourists moving to another country always complaining about everything Don't ask me for links just reading the news. Yes, you can compare but don't complain. Read many stories about American moving or spending time in Australia or vice versa. Or Australians complaining about the UK ones they move there. Ones you move or spend your holiday in that country you must realize that country is not the one you lived in.

    I guess I am doing OK but live in the west, my sister is 85 I am 76 now, my G/F was about 113 my mum died at 96.

    So, who believes websites? Today I checked numerous websites about a non-stop flight from Perth to BKK, guess what? I had to correct them many times there is none. I have been told Quantas or Thai, they both stopped nonstop flights in 2023 why not update their website?

    Aussie food is English food and there is nothing wrong with it if you cook yourself and don't live on junk food.

    I am a pensioner and live in the west my car is 27 years old, can't afford to buy a new car outright, the bank won't even give me a credit card. Spend all my money on 2 houses so I got to drive the old one till it packs up.

    I just checked mine; it was 117/70 I am 76 years old my wife is a nurse she reckons it is quiet OK.
