What Are Your Three Favourite TV Series?
Goat replied to NoshowJones's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I would rather go to a party than sit at home watching a fake show by actors. -
Tragic Innocent lives lost because of small minded people fighting over some invisable bearded man in the sky. Incredible that modern people believe this nonsense. Nice people the Thais.

What Are Your Three Favourite TV Series?
Goat replied to NoshowJones's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
In my opinion watching fictional TV series is a complete and utter waste of time. I am surprised they are as popular with the masses as they are. I assume it is escapism from their boring mundaine lives? They do bring in huge money. Just actors acting fake dramas. Nonsense really. Give me a documentry and real knowledge.- 117 replies

Gawd. Explaining basic economics. The Australian dollar is lower because we have lower inflation than the Brits. You have higher interest rates to attempt to control your high inflation so smart people like me take our money and put it into countries where interest rates are higher. Which further forces up the currency. So I get a higher interest rate and another win as the currency increases. Its a win win. Both wins for me. It takes me less than two minutes. I get that you probably will not get it, most people dont, and they end up poor, end up in long queues doing visa runs in the hot sun under pink umbrellas in third world countries.

My wealth is hedged against currency fluctuations. It simply isnt an issue for me. The rich get richer. I come from the land of plenty. Australians are the richest people in the world, with a median wealth three times that of the average American, a new report has shown. https://www.news.com.au/finance/money/wealth/average-aussie-three-times-richer-than-average-american/news-story/78239e23d281ac833e40ca78d1b9df08 For an Aussie to whine about being poor like the Brits would be a bit off wouldnt it? This is a thread about the poor English battlers that were sold a dud that hasnt delivered and will never deliver. Sadly. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-01-31/brexit-is-costing-the-uk-100-billion-a-year-in-lost-output#xj4y7vzkg

So when i visit Australia with my baht that i passively make here for doing very little and pay a very low rate of tax on I get more bang for my dollar. Its a beautiful thing. You make it sound like I am revelling in the misery of the Brits in the OP. It brings a tear to my eye mate, they are doing it bloody hard mate. Maybe we could start a gofundme?

Foreign Man Suffers Serious Head Injuries in Pattaya Traffic Accident
Goat replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Interesting. Ongard is a Thai name. But George Bashford is english. He looks full Thai, but maybe not. Educated in England. Maybe he is a step kid, English father met Thai mother in pattaya. Now he is back living in Pattaya. Get well soon George. Wear a helmet next time eh. -
The video in the link features the place in Britain that recorded the biggest leave vote. It seems many, if not most voted to leave not for the economic angle but because they dont like non white people. With the vote being so close i think it was probably these voters that got the leave over the line. Now they are whinging about the other cosequences. England is the only country in history that voted to impose sanctions on themselves. Surely if it was just an immigrant issue there could have been an easier way to deal with that without shooting the economy in the foot?

Tend to agree with the good minister Anutin. He was handing out free masks during a pandemic to put on and the entitled farangs were the only ones refusing them. An attack on their human rights apparently. And the only people i come across living here who stink of body ordour have been farangs. Especially noticible at hotel breakfast buffets and in bank queues.

Leaving to go to Thailand too young
Goat replied to georgegeorgia's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Got me baffled why being 30 and handsome you thought you needed to buy lady drinks. Thousands of single cute women available to you that were not hookers. especially in Bangkok. You should have got out more in the real world, much better quality and free. -
https://www.bigissue.com/news/social-justice/uk-economy-worst-g7/ The UK is on track to be the worst-performing economy in the G7 this year. That’s according to experts at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), who predict that the UK economy will shrink by 0.3 per cent in 2023. By contrast, the United States is forecast to grow by 1.6 per cent this year. Spain will see a 1.5 per cent increase, and France and Italy will see slight upticks of 0.7 per cent.

Controversial Construction: A Mysterious Pool on Na Jomtien Beach

Good idea for the guests. Saves them swimming in the faecal matter, urine and sperm mix that drains straight into the sea in Pattaya. The sea is nice to look at. But not swim in. -
One thing i really like about the Thais is they dont carry on with all this woke, bleeding heart PC nonsense. The suspect is a foreigner and can be described as such. Keeping it real.
