Where/how did you guys meet? You live there as well. Why dont you employ a cleaning lady a couple of times a week if you are both too lazy to do basic housework or cleaning. No wonder you complain a lot living in those squalid conditions. It would be depressing.

As i said me and all my friends just coped just fine. Who cares about the UK???? Too cold and miserable to ride a scooter there. Or even visit. I personally do not know any tourist who has died from a scooter crash in Thailand. Question is.....do you? No need to work yourself up about it. And i have known and met hundreds who have a better holiday because of their easy and cheap availability.

Renting a motorbike is a good way to get around cheaply and for many have a better holiday. When my friends and I were in our twenties we nearly all rented motorbikes. We all lived. As have tens of thousands of others over the years. Nobody is being forced to rent a motorbike. It is a freedom of choice. People die in cars and vans also. Should we ban them to protect a minute minority? These rental motorbikes are hardly high powered. About as dangerous as riding a push bike. If you think they are excessively dangerous, then dont rent one. No need to concern yourself with people who do. Up to them.
