  1. If you teach on a Thai passport you will 99/100 be paid Thai wages. I know two "Thai" teachers paid as foreigners. One is US citizen. This is because s/he avoids visa and wp drama. The school is elite and ok with it. The other a naturalized UK pp holder and s/he had to teach on the foreign pp for the foreign wage. Personally, I think you may struggle to find work due to no bachelor's degree. The schools may not understand how that came to be. Next, you'll probably need some form of education verification of degree. Khrusapa may not have your degree in db which will automatically disqualify regardless of nationality. Just fyi first year foreign teachers 30-36k per month. You ok with that? I'd expect Thais are making 9-14k first year.
  2. Each and every time I read about the UK economy it's usually straight up malaise with no mention of Brexit. The Brexit moaners will be whinging forever. I think facts on the ground a huge number of domestic missteps made coupled with a deteriorating world economy. I view anything in the EU is absolutely feckless and slomo death spiral. At least with Brexit minor dominion over UK citizens has returned. Who cares about a weak European market when some corrupt imbecile is running your life and tax regiment
  3. In the US Fentanyl is seemingly in everything and leading to ODs . It's so cheap it makes perfect sense to feed to the bums and proles. Tragic. Note: USA flooded with Fentanyl, oxycontin nothing short of black death yet not one news story, death here in Thailand. Interesting... China. But I digress
  4. The 800b gram was simply an example ????. It could be 600 or 900. These sorts of prices are absolutely ridiculous. Having said that I understand the low end side well as I'd lived it in the 70s. The cream is usually way overpriced looks, tastes beautiful and you need far less for liftoff. While in 70s until skunk came along Thai stick was a gold standard. One thing I think the upper end offers is opportunity to smoke less which is better on lungs and doesn't produce a cloud of four air. We are far afield in this thread. Sorry there.
  5. YOU'RE confused lol. I think every tranny on the planet is confused. Ever see a 50yo tranny in Thailand? Nope? You won't.
  6. I'm on a limb here but I'd say no. I think the medical ailment or procedure has to be fairly serious. Surgery must be scheduled and probably paperwork from reputable Bangkok, Phuket hospital and probably paid for. That or you have had it done and are recovering. If the question is can you get an extension on top of your TR post ED post extension extension by fronting up at Pattaya immigration and telling them you're thinking of having warts burned off your penis or hair plugs I'm doubting it.
  7. China has 1B people that have been locked down for years. Moreover, some have property that may need attending to here. There will be millions. Having stated that the Chinese economy is in sad shape and looks only to get worse. The world economy even more so. This year is sort of a catharsis for the working class and those without much sense running around the world when an economic tsunami approaches.
  8. I see a few posts stating just consume more but if you bought a gram at 800b and expected to consume 25% to get smoked but it takes 60% to produce the desired effect it's considerably more expensive. Urban legends perhaps one video was Vice (Germany) could well have been acting. Another was US (Fentanyl) I didn't watch that one as I hear loads of drugs now contain the rubbish. CBD: Yes, Thailand and want to stress no idea or evidence. I'm thinking maybe some nice CBD buds not moving so they sell it off / mix it with similar looking stuff. I think some hard realities gonna hit the retail industry here. Between sheer # of shops and competition, Thai crops coming into their own, not managing stock correctly, over estimate of numbers of Thais that will become regular smokers (few).
  9. 555 yes, the title is a lark but I'm seeing buds with ridiculous levels of THC claimed these days. I'd swear it goes up a few percent each week. I'm reading stories of German and US flower laced with drugs as well. Curious about opinions here on this forum. Also, flipside anyone purchased nice looking buds only to find out it's CBD that couldn't otherwise be sold?
  10. You might want to read the mission statement of the corporate <deleted> you consume. It's totally political. Always was.
  11. Right, it's corporate, overpriced frozen wokeness in a sad little cup
  12. Nor is Ben Jerry's so what is your point? It's just more corporate fast food B&R far more popular than Ben Jerry's ever will be.
  13. But it's a corporation now sold down the river that is entirely political. It always has been.
  14. I think the title should have been preceded by I made the poor choice of living in my wife's village and I'm curious if you think that... My loud music is epic. Everyone else's is obviously total noise. Loud noise out of a car these days is just ghetto.
  15. Funniest is roadblock cops taking your passport, pretending to scrutinize it and handing it back to you. No idea what they're looking at or for.
  16. I asked a simple question and this is the response. Beggars belief.
  17. Except for the stone cold hard fact that if I were a Thai national s/he wouldn't have to deal with it at all correct? Moreover, it's quite possible the owner might need to actually show their face in immigration. That to me is a bonafide hassle.
  18. Yes! The contract. When you recommend not using high quality photos I presume that is because the file size and I'm uploading these?
  19. Happy New Year all This year we will be changing domicile in central Bangkok. Judging from what I have read on/off on this forum my wife can use an app (??) and register as POSESSOR in lieu of owner dealing with the hassle. 1) What paperwork, issues for my wife? 2) What paperwork for the owner if not possible 3) What about me just submitting paperwork at CW and which documents required? I expect hardcopies: Owners ID card, tabien bahn all pages, TM30, limited PoA (where to get this?). Plus my documents which are?? Anyway, I've no idea. Finally, the way it sits currently as I understand it is I just need to register when I move in. As long as my visa (extension) doesn't change I'm not (owner) required to update as I come and go be it a domestic holiday or leaving the country. Super finally, the paperwork seems a hassle for the owner and I've read some don't want to rent to farang but the paperwork seems minimal. Maybe some confusion here with other parts of Thailand where owners are required to front up ?? Anyway, up to them. Thank you and happy new year.
