Curious of people who have been to Buriram in the past for Moto GP can give recommendations for what stands would be best. It looks like the Grandstand is sold out but if i can get my hands on some is it worth the extra couple thousand baht per ticket? If not possibly what other stands make sense? One thing that stands out is the lack of decent windows in regards to how dark it must be in the house, I cant see how much natural light would get in? Interesting as Im in a similar situation except there is a smaller age gap and we are both younger than you and yours. I think the best gift I could give her is the opportunity for her to improve her position. Enticing/helping her to rise the ladder from an earnings perspective so if we break up she has something to fall back on, a liveable wage. She works reception in a busy tourist hotel 6 days a week 10 hours a day for not alot of money. She never misses a day. She's underpaid. As it stands I pay for most things and she does what she pleases with her earnings. Over the last 6-12 months she saved to go on a trip to Japan with her sisters/cousins. She's obsessed with Japan and wants me to go with her next year after she has saved up. She offered to pay for the tickets if I look after the rest. To me this isn't sustainable, her spending all her money each year. It's nice to be able to do but longer term thinking isn't a strong point nowadays. Bangkok is probably the place to be to make this happen? Maybe further studies or just knocking on doors with a positive attitude?

Have you imported alot of stuff like this? Ive read in the past of issues with customs not releasing items without getting some "tax" but I have not experienced it one way or the other.

I get the impression that all these "security/fraud prevention" measures are more about tracking transactions than protecting customers from fraud. Just makes me want to diversify my accounts. Then you cover all bases but for Wise it means I'll be using Wise less than in the past.

Anybody had any recent issues with Wise? I have used my Wise physical card details as my saved card for Grab app. Ive never had any issue in the past but tried to order some food over the last few days and it failed a few times. Haven't used the app for close to two months before this. I have ordered food from the same restaurant before and no issues. Ive been in touch with Wise and they say I need to order a new card as they have updated their policy. I told them my card doesn't expire until 2026 and im not going paying for a new card that they should provide me one. They insisted this was what I have to do if I want a physical card that will work. They say its something to do with 3DS, whatever that is. Some sort of extra tracking and identification it seems.
