Do you think Israel won? Is that why the court has said it is plausible that genocidal acts are being committed? Is that why they now have to fight this in the court for years to come? Elon is the funniest man alive. I can't watch or listen to him anymore, because he spouts so much propaganda. Each time he mentions Hamas, he can't help himself but add at least one adjective and one adverb prior to uttering their name.

LOL Elon Levy must have had to dig deep to find that answer. Completely ignores the fact that Israel lost the case, and is currently being investigated for genocide. Even stronger case for the world, the Israeli judge voted to approve some of these measures too. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/icj-genocide-ruling-israel-gaza-war-rcna135615

No, I was stating the obvious. The ICJ measures were not even mentioned in my post. Each and every person who claims that supporting the Palestinians equates to supporting terrorists is guilty of the same thing Israel is. Not separating Hamas from the Palestinians as a whole. This is why South Africa won their case, and Israel lost. Israel now has to defend itself for years to come as the case drags on in the courts.

It most definitely is a win for South Africa. This was an interim hearing, and to decide if the case will move forward. The court overwhelmingly voted 15/2 that there is potentially a case of genocide to answer, and so the case continues. How is that not a win? The court were never going to order Israel to stop fighting, but they have put restrictions on what they can do. This will make Israel's propaganda easier to combat, because the world court has acknowledged they are not doing this the right way - too many have died. Personally, even though I loath Bibi and his right wing buddies, I do not believe Israel is attempting genocide. Ethnic cleansing of the area, probably. War crimes? 1000% yes. There have been so many examples, even yesterday we watched an old Palestinian guy waving a white flag get shot on iTV. Genocide? No. Even though they are indiscriminately killing thousands - including their own naked, white flag bearing hostages, they are not trying to kill them all.

I'm not crossing the line at all, we spoke about this article on another thread. This is the second time you have brought this article up, and the second time you have made a false accusation. There is a huge difference between all 3000 members supporting the massacres, and a few of them doing so. In that other thread you acknowledged that it was a group of 3000 teachers, only some of which wrote messages supporting the massacre. Is this true or not? Is it all 3000 or some of them?

I agree with your first point - but I would include the deaths of their loved ones, not just being forced off their land and kicked out of their homes. The 2nd point is not true at all, Israel is the only one denying them rights and citizenship. This is an argument Hitler himself made, remember? "Nobody wants them" Your third point is also not true. There have been 6 major wars between Arab states and Israel over this issue, 3 of which Israel started. Most of them have no idea what life is like in Israel, so I doubt it!

A false argument. Putin is invading another country in an attempt to grab land. This is what Israel did when it started the 1967 war, or the so called 'six day war'. Do Ukrainians hate Russians? Yeah, they do. They have destroyed their lives. Do Palestinians hate Israelis? Yeah, they do. They have destroyed their lives. A peaceful settlement is the only way this war will end, and it will not end if Israel gets everything it wants. Both sides need to compromise, and the Palestinians have shown a willingness - 50% in the last poll taken before the war - to permanently end the conflict and have two states based on the 1967 borders. Over 70% want the PA in charge, not Hamas.
-
Again not remotely true. Prior to October 7 the majority of Gazans were willing to accept a permanent two state solution based on 1967 borders. The will of the people, is to be free, and have a state of their own. They do not want Hamas in charge. They are not 'obeying orders of the prophet'. They want to live. https://www.washingtoninstitute.org/policy-analysis/polls-show-majority-gazans-were-against-breaking-ceasefire-hamas-and-hezbollah

Yup, you quite clearly are. You can't say the UN are denying the existence of Hamas tunnels 2 days ago, whilst at the same time showing 2 articles on the UN's website from 2022 & 2021, where they clearly say they are appalled to find two tunnels on UNRWA sites. What did they do when they found the tunnels? They reported them and closed them. Do you not see how ridiculous that makes you sound? You literally use the UN's own report about discovering tunnels and in the same breath accuse them of denying they exist. This must be the very definition of insanity.

No, I do not concede. I understood exactly what he was saying. You were trying to twist it into something absolutely ridiculous. Why would they deny knowledge of tunnels, when it is on their website, and they have frequently investigated this sort of thing - you very kindly linked 2 examples to demonstrate they understood that tunnels were being built. They didn't know WHERE they were being built because, as he quite rightly says, it must be a secretive operation. How you misconstrued that as complete denial just shows your true intent. To smear and denigrate. Typical of Dershowitz to use this approach, and I see the Israeli media, commentators and spokespeople using the same dirty, underhanded tricks.
