  1. He also said: Commenting on the Israeli forces’ actions in the Gaza Strip, Guterres noted that the “onslaught” had resulted in “wholesale destruction” and an unprecedented rate of civilian killings during his tenure as Secretary-General. “Nothing can justify the collective punishment of the Palestinian people. The humanitarian situation in Gaza is beyond words. Nowhere and no one is safe.”
  2. UN Secretary-General António Guterres has emphasized the imperative of establishing “basic conditions” to facilitate safe and full-scale aid delivery to civilians in Gaza while stressing that only a ceasefire will prevent the crisis from escalating. https://news.un.org/en/story/2024/01/1145537?_gl=1*achl83*_ga*NDA4MTcwMjAzLjE2OTY3MzkxOTM.*_ga_TK9BQL5X7Z*MTcwNTM4NDE1MS4xOS4xLjE3MDUzODQxNTMuMC4wLjA.

  4. You're welcome. I feel it needs to be kept simple for the majority on here.

  9. Looking forward to the Israeli defence today at the ICJ should be an interesting watch after South Africa's application yesterday. The facts presented were well put IMHO and to me it was all well documented and put to the court in a courteous and respectful manner. To me the Israeli reply to the evidence will need to be equally outstanding.
  10. If only it was Iran or Hamas who were up before the International Court of Justice, but there not are they?
  11. So Wiki that you quoted is better than the ICJ website I quoted, got it.

  15. Trying to do a hit job on the Judges through Wiki won't wash with me when anybody can go to the International Court of Justice home page for any information needed straight from the horses mouth, so to speak, your points mean nothing unless you're only trying to muddy the waters, for once be honest. https://www.icj-cij.org/index.php/home
  16. It's good enough for me and millions of others around the world. Extremists, in the last picture, according to who?
