Jewish independent to challenge Keir Starmer in UK election (video)
I think you need to have a read of this: Membership and registered supporters A graph showing Labour Party individual membership, excluding affiliated members and supporters. As of 31 December 2010, under Leader Ed Miliband, individual membership of the party was 193,261; a historical low for the Party since the 1930s.[236] Membership remained relatively unchanged in the following years.[236][237][238] In August 2015, prior to the 2015 leadership election, the Labour Party reported 292,505 full members, 147,134 affiliated supporters (mostly from affiliated trade unions and socialist societies) and 110,827 registered supporters; a total of about 550,000 members and supporters.[239][240] Following the election of Jeremy Corbyn as leader, individual membership almost doubled to 388,262 in December 2015;[238] and rose significantly again the following year to 543,645 in December 2016.[241] As of December 2017, the party had 564,443 full members,[242] a peak since 1980 making it the largest political party in Western Europe.[243][244] Consequently, membership fees became the largest component of the party's income, overtaking trade unions donations which were previously of most financial importance, making Labour the most financially well-off British political party in 2017.[245] As of December 2019, the party had 532,046 full members.[246] In the 2020 leadership election 490,731 people voted, of which 401,564 (81.8%) were members, 76,161 (15.5%) had affiliated membership and 13,006 (2.6%) were registered supporters. The registered supporter class was abolished in 2021.[247] By July 2023, the party's membership was reported to have fallen to 399,195 members.[248] In March 2024, it was reported that the Labour Party's membership had fallen to 366,604.[5] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Labour_Party_(UK)

Israel is at War - General discussion (pt3)
Nice to see the ICJ Order of last week being ignored as usual. At least 35 people were killed in an Israeli strike in Rafah on Sunday, the Gaza health ministry said. The strike hit a camp for displaced people, according to Gaza authorities. The IDF claimed it struck a Hamas compound in the area, killing two senior officials from the militant group. Sirens sounded in Tel Aviv and parts of central Israel on Sunday after rockets were fired at the city for the first time in months, according to the Israeli military. Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack. https://edition.cnn.com/middleeast/live-news/israel-hamas-war-gaza-news-05-26-24/index.html?Date=20240526&Profile=CNN

The ICJ Ordered Israel to Halt its Rafah Military Offensive
Anyone who read the original Order of the 24th May 2024 could see that the ICJ had as in the previous Orders unanimously called for the release of the hostages from the 7th Oct 2023. I did notice you were more than happy to follow the Times of Israel idea that it wasn't the case that the ICJ by a vote of 13 to 2 called for a halt in Israel's campaign in Rafah/Gaza, and you wonder why the world is thinking of Israel as a pariah state.

The ICJ Ordered Israel to Halt its Rafah Military Offensive
Seems like a few members on here have a problem with the truth about what the ICJ actually said, so can I suggest they all read this Order dated 24th May 2024: https://www.icj-cij.org/sites/default/files/case-related/192/192-20240524-ord-01-00-en.pdf

Can you recommend small cities to live in (population between 20k and 100k ppl at most)?
50km from Phitsanulok, 30km from Phichit, 7km from route 11, nearest 7/11 Saklek or Wattayom, out in the sticks, good air, love it, only permanent falange in the village, occasionally 1/2 others who have their own places further afield.

So the press only support Hamas, and Israeli press is totally unbiased, I'd have thought if Israel had nothing to hide they'd welcome the scrutiny but as most people know that's untrue especially where Palestinian prisoners are concerned.

Like the IDF did when they executed people in their hospital beds dressed as medics. Bet the ICJ/ICC loved that one.

Israel is at War - General discussion (pt3)
More than 50 tenured journalism professors from top universities have signed a letter calling on the New York Times to address questions about a major investigative report that described a “pattern of gender-based violence” in the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks on Israel. The letter follows months of criticism and concerns raised by outside critics as well as some Times staffers about the credibility of its sourcing and the editorial process for the story. The letter, signed by professors at colleges including New York University, the University of Pennsylvania, Emory and the University of Texas, asks the Times to “immediately commission a group of journalism experts to conduct a thorough and full independent review of the reporting, editing and publishing processes for this story and release a report of the findings.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/style/media/2024/04/29/new-york-times-oct-7-journalism-professors-letter/

Fantastic, you found something that has absolutely nothing to do with my point/post. "Anything that comes from Israel media, is propaganda as it isn't verifiable by international media.""

Israel is at War - General discussion (pt3)
All from the Israel Times, a totally viable source, of course it is if you only want the Israeli view. If the International media in Israel reports anything it has to be vetted first, or they can't report it, never mind about the situation in Gaza Politicians have significant influence over appointments to the broadcasting regulatory bodies. Channel 14 is known to provide very favourable coverage of the prime minister, with few critical voices. Since the start of the war with Hamas, a majority of the media has increasingly relayed the government’s propaganda in favour of the war, and critical voices find it difficult to be heard. Coverage of the war in Gaza has been seriously hindered, as only journalists embedded with the IDF are allowed to enter the enclave. https://rsf.org/en/country/israel

The US paused a shipment of bombs to Israel over worries about Israel nearing a decision to launch a wide-ranging military offensive on the southern Gaza city of Rafah, which President Joe Biden opposes, according to a senior administration official. Bloomberg News' Paul Wallace discusses with Joumanna Bercetche on on Horizons Daybreak: Middle East & Africa.

Anything that comes from Israel media, is propaganda as it isn't verifiable by international media.
-
Israel is at War - General discussion (pt3)
Answer this then: Israeli propaganda from Israeli news sites that won't allow international media free access to any evidence to corroborated any of the lies they want to put out.
-
Israel is at War - General discussion (pt3)
So you think that's personnel and a rant, but don't question any of the facts stated, proper propaganda.
-
Israel is at War - General discussion (pt3)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, you do nothing but post Israeli propaganda from Israeli news sites that won't allow international media free access to any evidence to corroborated any of the lies they want to put out. Cry crocodile tears all you want, even though the majority of Israeli's think and treat Palestinians/Arabs as less than human and have done for years.

Israel is at War - General discussion (pt3)
They're both probably lying, neither of them have an ounce of humanity, Israel will just carry out whatever they want with their No 1 supporter and no amount of international condemnation will stop them, as has been clearly shown for weeks. While I'm more than disgusted at the reactions on here by pro-Israeli's it matters not a jot to them that whatever is said about all the death and destruction it is all justifiable due to 7/10, humanity doesn't matter.

Rival Gaza protests in London seethed with mutual animosity - and angry divides
You did not say Khan would win but you implied that he would lose and he didn't. Your fav position imply something then if it goes wrong ignore it, and yes I know you'll come back with some garbage as usual , but I'm not interested in your rightwing/ pro-Israel rhetoric, so don't bother replying.

Israel accused of possible war crime over killing of West Bank boy As part of an investigation into the conduct of Israel's security forces in the West Bank, which has been under military occupation for more than half a century, the BBC has pieced together what happened on the day the two boys were killed. Mobile phone and CCTV footage, information about the movements of Israel's military, witness testimony and detailed investigation of the scene, including taking measurements, combine to reveal evidence suggesting serious human rights violations. The evidence we found has prompted Ben Saul, UN special rapporteur on human rights and counter-terrorism, to say the death of Adam appears to be a "war crime". https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cw07wgrwzywo?at_objective=awareness&at_ptr_type=email&at_email_send_date=20240502&at_send_id=4079305&at_link_title=https%3a%2f%2fwww.bbc.com%2fnews%2farticles%2fcw07wgrwzywo&at_bbc_team=crm
