1.0 out of 5 stars Crude and inappropriate, should never have been written 12 Oct 2012

    Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase

Recounts little more than the authors "conquests", which, even as a married man with a wild sense of humour, I found crude and disgusting. His treatment of the women he encountered was sickening. Did not finish the book. It was barely worth the price. I paid £0.00 for it. So good, they're giving it away.

cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif barely worth the price he says wonder if he tried to get a refund ???

  2. It seem at Suvarnabhumi the Taxi Mafia won overhand again. At departure was forbidden take guests and now stand more then 10 taxi there and flirt with few police men. at 22:00 the asked me 500 after bargin 350 THB to Ramkamhaeng - this could be a city trip or even Don Muang.

I went down to the legal taxi stand where you have to buy a ticket. The lady askd 350 plus 50 for Highway even txi don't take highway to Ramkamhaeng. I told them I can fuc_k myself and toke Skyline for 25 bath and bc near 1 km from stataion I toke a taxi for 80 Bath.

Have nothing to do with transport but general warning. I wounder what price will be after midnight when Skyline stop work until early morning? wai.gif

P.S. be sure when you take taxi that he has enough gasoline, now 2 times he stoped at a taxi stand and said I have to take other taxi, not enough gasoline.

  4. Its easy to understand her visa.

Its a 3 month holiday visa and she has 12 months to use from the stamped date

I dont understand how you dont understand?

Its actually a multiple entry visa which is valid for 3 months stay with each visit and I think she wouldnt have to return to thailand at the end of each 3 months I believe it may be worth checking for a definitive answer on that point as it may be worth just taking a few days holiday in somewhere like Bali and then returning for another 3 months which i think would be much cheaper on your pocket than paying for flights to Thailand .

  5. In 1989 I entered Thailand on the overnight train via Malaysia and woke up daylight 1 hour out of Bangkok slumped in my chair with a stonking morning stiffy. I was wearing a thin pair of shorts and the outline was so clear you could count the veins.

  6. She will never see the freedom again, if she plead guilty, get life imprisonnement, if not, death penalty.

Really ? Wow thats a hard lesson to learn.

There's no excuse for these people but I can't help feeling that some of these drug-mules are also victims of the drug trade. IMHO I would have thought a stiff sentence of say 5-10 years would be more than sufficient (personal opinion only mind)

You'd think the death penalty would be sufficient enough of a deterrent, but it isn't. They don't mess around with this kind of thing in other parts of the world. Look at Singapore. There are several signs in plain view of airport passengers that drug smuggling of any kind will result in the death penalty. But it still happens. IMHO, bring back extrajudicial shootings and be done with them.

Same in Bali although there its something along the lines of Welcome to Bali.....Warning DEATH PENALTY for Drug Smuggling ........Enjoy your Holiday

Quite confrontational at first glance and worrying but if you dont break the law everything is fine ...though there are obviously d**kheads around who dont think it applies to them

  7. I noticed in the last few years we lived in Australia, when tax on ciggies was doubled and then doubled again, more and more people going onto 'Chop Chop' which was under the counter rolling tobacco. Police were often finding illegal tobacco plantations, so it wasn't all (if any) imported. Earlier this year in England, I was surprised at how many people, especially women, were rolling their own. I imagine there is a similar under the counter 'Chop Chop' in UK as there is in Aus, but who knows what this illegal product is being mixed with to make it go further? When it comes to money, I never underestimate greed.

Not Chop Chop as such but usually brand name tobacco bought into the UK illegally from mainland Europe where it is still relatively cheap to buy per 50gram pouch than it is in the uk ! last time I was there i was buying from an old mate for around 4 quid a pouch compared to about 12 quid in tesco's so basically 3 for 1 !

  8. I have actually seen this in Phuket a few yrs ago was sitting outside a pub with the Mrs in Phuket town and was wondering why there were so many people around the area then the fun started with many Utes passing slowly by with people with all manner of things sticking in /out from various parts of their bodies ! my mrs just couldnt look and nearly chundered on the pavement biggrin.png Me i just sat there slack jawed wondering why the Faaark would someone do that to themselves Especially the little guy who probably weighed about 7 stone soaking wet who had what must have been more than a 100 large hooks in his back linked to chains pulling a a truck that was loaded down with other people with multiple large piercings and knives swords what have you through their faces and tongues ... I have to say that what was remarkable was that there wasnt that much blood to be seen I'm guessing they must be in some sort of trance to block out the pain and slow down the flow of blood through their veins .
