You really have to apply it to daily life. For instance when Sadhguru was asked about the meaning of life he SHOULD have said "It is to do what needs to be done".. To make your breakfast. To empty the trash. To work. To make your woman's life better. To do the things, that need to be done. This would mean that you have to decide what needs to be done. And then you have the discipline to do it every day. The answer will be different to everyone. But I think Sadhguru said as much when he told us to live every possible aspect of this life we have. This is of course a lot deeper than just saying you have to do what needs to be done. But ultimately that is the purpose of life.
