  1. Somewhat odd, is it not that the Teamster poll has Trump ahead 60% to 34%, and all the mainstream media polls have Trump behind or tied. How strange is that?
  2. US Senator Tommy Tuberville says Ukraine is losing the war, is the most corrupt county on the planet and the United States should stop funding Ukraine with US taxpayer money.
  3. She should have sued Biden in a civil case like Carroll did. Her allegation was even older.
  4. How odd, she reported the rape to police but there was never a rape trial. How is that even possible?
  5. Sean really had it all, billions in the bank, fame, a family, beautiful kids. But it wasn't enough. Never enough.
  6. There is a simple reason: If you are ugly then you have no chance to be beautiful, but you do have a chance to catch looks by being "interesting". Hence the piercings, tattoos and coloured hair.
  7. Yes it was economic terrorism when the Ukrainians sabotaged Nordstream. Good point about the nuclear power plant, another example of Ukraine having no scruples to go to the brink of crazy recklessness, regardless of who will suffer.
  8. The vultures are coming out for a pay day. It was the same with Jeffrey Epstein, all of a sudden scores of women turned up, lured by the fact that Epstein's private fortune was to be distributed among the victims. So being a victim was an exceptional pay day, indeed it made Virgina Giuffre a cool 2 million USD, she now lives in a Villa in Australia. Even women with almost no connection to Epstein tried and failed to jump on the victim train. No doubt we'll see a lot more women claiming Sean Coombs raped them.
  9. It actuallly would make a lot more sense for the Ukrainians to help Harris, since they have billions to gain if Harris wins. Ukrainians have also proven that they are fine to engage in state terrorism with Nordstream, they have fanatical and well trained Commandos. Trump better beef up his security.
  10. He would be a great president, always voted with his conscience and outstanding on foreign policy.
  11. Yes, it's sad you're not aware that the President can unilaterally issue a variety of rules, regulations, and instructions , including Executive Orders which have the force of law. In addition: "Much of the legislation dealt with by Congress is drafted at the initiative of the executive branch. In modern times, the "executive communication" has become a prolific source of legislative proposals. The communication is usually in the form of a message or letter from a member of the president's Cabinet, the head of an independent agency, or the president himself, transmitting a draft of a proposed bill to the speaker of the House of Representatives and the president of the Senate. The president may personally propose legislation in annual and special messages to Congress including the annual State of the Union address and joint sessions of Congress. If Congress has adjourned without acting on proposals, the president may call a special session of the Congress." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powers_of_the_president_of_the_United_States But, hey...they didn't teach that at your High School I guess?
  12. Which is exactly what caused the Ukraine war in the first place. Didn't work out so well the last time Putin wasn't listened to, did it? Ukraine was invaded. Brits have the luxury of pursuing a head in the sand strategy after Boris Johnson caused Zelensky not to sign a deal with Russia at the start of the war. Others are not so lucky. If Putin is ignored again, it will be a disaster. The man has over 5000 nuclear weapons.
  13. We have never been closer to a nuclear war in our lifetime than we are now. This is what unqualified support for Ukraine has got us, a revision of the nuclear doctrine and Russia one step away from bombing Ukraine with tactical nukes. Congratulations to all the cheerleaders for Ukraine who have thrown gasoline onto the nuclear fire. Our only hope is that Trump becomes president, withdraws funding and the war in Ukraine ends. if Harris is elected she has already indicated that she will give more weapons and aid to Ukraine, thus making nuclear war more likely still. If Russia is struck with missiles it is very likely Russia will eventually retaliate with a tactical nuclear weapon. If you look at the history of WWI and WWII you will see that all the national leaders were shocked when a world war happened, noobdy planned it, it happened by accident. It looks very much like once again Britain, France, the United States and Russia will drag the world into an accidental world war.
  14. AI can be useful, some people use it to to learn foreign languages, to anaylze competitors, to prepare emails, it's a very long list. The thing that gets me, is that it's not "AI", it's very much human I, because it is human AI Data trainers that are basically inputting the correct data. It's like a chess computer that is given the correct data by humans and then processes the data faster, that is all. But it is not actual intelligence of the human kind. Humans just put in the data and the model then processes it. I therefore am puzzled why Musk and others claim we need to be careful of AI. Yes, it can take jobs, but I don't see how it could take over the world.
  15. That's a fair point. But then my ex wife couldn't get in, out of respect and love for her I put it at 45, she still works out and is slim and fit. But not close to how spectacular she was at 19, you have a point.
  16. This is indeed the case. Nietzsche taught that it is the overcoming of obstacles which makes us happy. And only this really makes us happy. But even then this happiness is only fleeting, just like the sensual happiness of sex, food, massage etc..it does not last. Goethe was asked if he had been happy in his life. This great man, who had experienced more in his lifetime than most men in hundred, replied "Maybe four weeks ". Ultimate happiness would be the absence of time. The absence of fleeting happness and transformation, but the presence of ever lasting bliss. Perhaps this is what awaits after death. Bill Hicks and other druggies told us we are all one with the universe, so do the mystics, and so do those who have had near death experiences. It is very regrettable there won't be orgies and people speaking Korean. It's such a pleasant language. There is wisdom in this though, because if you could experience the permanent bliss of an MDMA high for an extended period your body would fail after a few days at most. Your mind would be gone as you go insane with love and lust if the body doesn't go after a few days. Our body was not built for happiness, nor is our mind. Ultimately permanent bliss may be more satisfying than all the sensual pleasures. Who knows.
  17. Undoubtedly it does persist still. However, given the requirements to notify regulators of purchases or sales of listed shares, it is not impossible for regulators to figure out whether insider trading happened or not based on certain information.
  18. I do not buy that for a second, the homeless are not all mentally ill. They just fell on hard times, called poverty. That can, and does happen to anyone.
  19. No women over 45. No old people generally. No ugly people whatsoever. Orgies all over the place, 24-7 Everybody speaks Korean.
  20. Hahahahaha.... You've lost the plot. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.
  21. Indeed, and some fund managers famously got into trouble for this backroom economics. It is illegal, when caught penalties apply.
  22. I love Accuradio as well. Audials is another great option.
  23. It's not just 2%, it's 2% for managing the fund, but also 20% of the profits they make. It's true that most managers did not beat the market lately, it was 43% who did in 2023. In 3 of the last 10 years it was above 50% but not since 2017. https://www.ft.com/content/d7d4b190-fe07-4fa3-9b42-164f4eee3c6b This has to do with market conditions. Markets are notoriously difficult and unpredictable lately. However, some of the star performers who do beat the market do so by incredible margins. This notion that funds are not regulated is complete nonsense though, and I'm not implying you would say such a stupid thing Swissie, I just read it upthread. Funds are among the most highly regulated financial vehicles you can imagine. This is because funds are quite dangerous for the economy, one, LTCM, almost caused the world economy to go into recession. Ever since then regulation has steadily increased. There are also extremely highly qualified, intelligent people on the boards of funds, reviewing the figures, ie the administrators, usually several teams of lawyers in different countries are involved in setting up these funds. I was a funds lawyer for over 15 years, and even in the Cayman Islands funds are regulated, unless they fall under exceptions, ie closed ended funds or large minimum subscriptions..
  24. I didn't even know Trump did that. Every time you read about Trump he goes up further in your estimation. What a great guy. Trump did donate his salary The Trump administration announced the donation of portions of Trump's salary to federal agencies such as the Department of Health and Human Services, the National Park Service and the Small Business Administration, according to White House briefings. These agencies confirmed to USA TODAY that Trump donated part of his annual presidential salary of $400,000. Cynthia Hernandez, a spokesperson for the National Park Service, referred USA TODAY to a 2017 press release that states Trump donated over $78,000 from his salary to the agency to restore two projects at the Antietam National Battlefield in Maryland. Christina Carr, a spokesperson for the Small Business Administration, confirmed that the agency received Trump's 2018 second-quarter salary detailed in the White House press briefing. Trump donated $100,000 of his salary to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, an agency within the Department of Health and Human Services, in 2017, Kamara Jones, the department's acting assistant secretary for public affairs, told USA TODAY in an email. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2023/02/02/fact-check-partly-false-claim-trump-tax-returns-salary-donation/11132712002/
