Yes, as a lawyer Harris is undoubtedly intelligent, however, she does not come across that way, the way say Obama came across as very bright the first time you see him. Harris is a poor orator by comparison and lacks charisma. She seems permanently insecure and nervous and high strung. If people want to big up Harris, because she was DA and Senator, ok, but Trump was President of the United States, the highest office in the land. Harris is no Obama, and whether hers is a winning campaign, well, let's see. A bit early to say. Obama exuded brains and charisma in a way Harris does not. And her oratory skills are light years away from Obama, no silver tongue there. Even the cackle has a distinct bronze twang. Didn't the Democrats concede the Republican convention was slick and a success, I think that's what gave him a further edge in he polls against Biden. As for Vance, do you remember Dan Quayle? Vance seems a genius by comparison. I don't think many people would agree that Harris is a clear cut winner at this point.
