    I wanted to go, but at the door it was like live concert, music and patrons so loud and raucous I instead went to the lovely Thai restaurant two minutes down the road. Much better.

    It's funny you should say that because Hua Hin was the only place in Thailand I was ever accosted by a prostitute on that small strip. But all good natured, no harm done. What I don't like about Hua Hin is how disjointed it is, and it's just too small, not much on offer by comparison to Chiang Mai and BKK. it just seems too limited.

    Yah, in terms of pensions we got screwed by our parents, but our children will really suffer. Since women are not keen to have children anymore soon the whole system will collapse anyway. Malaysia and Singapore will be the models for the EU to come.
