Ok if one has the super ca$h to shell out half a million for a car why not. But considering the wealth of the owner, should he have class, he would definately not make a fuss with the other parties insurance and take up the expenses of both sides involved. That would be a real gesture of class, deserving to ride in a Rolls. I would have done it if i had such a car and mainly such cash.

Man Arrested in Phuket for Alleged Involvement in Land Application Scam
Sigmund replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
If I could go back in time, I would never buy in Thailand. Renting seems the safest option considering all the scams around. Not to mention the issues that could arise on after completion and key hand over and of course the developper is rarely as compliant as before the sale Unless one is a professionnal builder, it's a further risk for foreigners. Not to mention regular hassles for non immigrant visas that tend to become a nightmare for the westeners used to a certain level of bureaucratic simplicity back home. -

How much monthly salary should you pay for rescuing a bar girl?
Sigmund replied to Goat's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
With these fine ladies, the best would be to apply the golden mantra. ....Never buy, always rent. Not to mention the danger of contracting some STD if the lady still plays around in the wings. -
Please have mercy ????and do share your experiences and suggestions of places and how to reach with public transport (train, plane etc).

A useless feat and plainly for the ego. The Everest is becoming the highest garbage and human waste dump of the world. Surprisingly, it's usualle the same people who give out lessons on how to save the planet-stop oil-stop-plane travel etc...who rush on those guided expeditions with Sherpa's and logistics and end up in soiling the Everest. Yes, it is however a fact that thanks to these adrenaline junkies from the west, the entire region in Nepal makes a living. But these Everest tours should be banned before ranting on the cruise ships or air travel that the usual pro climate ecoterrorists are always giving out upon in Europe, in the name of climate change.

One vice would be to have multiple female therapists, simultaneously dispensing due intimate therapy just fer meself, in a nice, comfy, well furnished space, but of course.... never in one's own premises !! Definately a not-to-miss at least once, twice or even thrice in one's life ????????????

To all the distinguished gourment amateurs of indian cuisine in the forum, which would be the one of the best Indian restaurant in Bangkok in your experience ? A nice place from mid level to top level and within reasonable reach of a Skytrain station of course. Thank you for your suggestions, comments ....

Some popular pool villa developpments in Hua Hin I visited sometime back, already had cracks on the walls that I saw from outside, on houses that were just completed. They may look fine on completion , but how to say what materials were used and how the stuff was built, considering such pool villa developpments are practically a mass produce product ? ? Not to mention the electrical issues with those multiple bulbs on the roof that just tend to fuse one by one and need constant replacement. The OP is right in building his house under his full supervision, It may be a administrative headache but definately will not lead to unpleasant surprises that can occur in those ready built pool villa developpements in Hua HIn or surely elsewhere.

Tourist Police Explain "Skateboard Incident" at Don Mueang airport

The "quality" chinese tourists, whom Thailand is encouraging and making visa issues a joke for them. Guess some chaps on the top of the food chain in politics, seem to have close ties with the Chinese. -
How often does Chiang mai have large wildfires in the city?
Sigmund replied to TravelerEastWest's topic in Chiang Mai
Many people who think for themselves find all the wildfires that have spread across the Mediterrannes cost of Europe this summer, rather suspicisous. Not to forget that a suspect arsonist was arrested I think in Greece and another one in France. With all the ecoterrorists all over Europe who block roads to stop cars and pass their environmental anti petrol propaganda, or other ecoterrorists who storm museums and destroy world heritage paintings with paint in the name of their environmental brain washing.....people are wondering if these fires are not part of some sort of coordinated action, just to dissuade people from flying to those holiday destinations that were set ablaze. Not to mention that spaces burnt down is bare land that can be used to graise animals, build hotels or whatsoever.....so plainly considering climate change ? no way.... Not that I am trying to be another doomsday chap, but it does seems fishy on such fires blazing out the forests on basically humid beach towns, when no fires in the other inner land forests that are as dry. As for Thailand, it's usually the farmers burning their waste plainly.....and sometimes the smoke reaches out to Bangkok and makes a public uproar. -
What % of farangs in Thailand are worth talking to?
Sigmund replied to bignok's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Whatever you say my lord...I will oblige anything you say including all your ex previous ex SAS, Navy Seal exploits,...name it and I will give thou all the praise with due dilligence... amen. -
It's fine as long as you rent and never buy. And also if you don't minde being overcharged for everything with the special falang price, like the other popular beach town of Hua Hin where they seem masters in ripping off farangs and overcharge....even if you have a lovely thai wife or a great rent-per-week local girlie with you. But or else, Samui is a lovely place no question of that and you will definately have many nice moments.

What % of farangs in Thailand are worth talking to?
Sigmund replied to bignok's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Who told me ? Well obvisouly a distinguished and highly reliable thai forum asean member like you mylord...who else ? ???? -
One of the best French brands, reliable. But depending on your area, if you get limescale depot at the bottom, a bit of white alchool vinegar overnight and it's like new. Excellent choice as Tefal never let's you down..or say rarely let's you down. Unlike some US or UK donkey-tonk brands.

Sorry to ask but is this some new sex toy to spurt n'squirt ? ????????

What % of farangs in Thailand are worth talking to?
Sigmund replied to bignok's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I have often been told and also noticed here and there that in Thailand better to keep distance from all the farangs, the so called ex SPECOPS, ex SAS. ex SEALS etc... These mythomaniacs are just trouble and many are into drugs probable or other dodgy or illegal stuff. Obvisouly one cannot generalise, but the agressive and drunk tatooed brit or Aussie ? no thanks, not for me. Once again all are not like what describes obviously, but I do not intend to check that out. Just stick with my circle of acquaintances and mingle with the locals who are fine.... provided you respect them and dont show that you can spend 15'000 THB in a few hours of a shopping spree in Pattaya !! -

Thai Property, Blue Book vs Chanote.

Obviously, but the hassle to get the yellow book, all the stamps required from the MFA etc...are obvious signals never to buy. On second thoughts, I would not have bought here, rather rented. -
