You don't understand, both parties could speak Thai , both my side and the hotel side could speak fluent Thai , no need to speak English . But I do think that 5 * hotels should have staff that can speak various different languages

I didn't mention anything about supporting dual pricing on age or gender , I just don't think that the price should depend on a persona Nationality . Yes, I am pleased that I didn't stay in the dual priced hotel . My choice who to give my money to and the money was used by the Woman to go home for the holidays

The hotel staff couldn't speak English, so why should I pay for them to speak English ? Thats another reason why I should pay normal price and not pay extra

Its not a problem for me . I will happily stay at home and keep my 5500 Baht in my pocket and not bother with 5 * hotel accommodation and we could do with some heaters here as its rather cold at the moment

The staff at the hotel could barely speak any English , reporting TM30s is free and takes minutes , I don't use more air con than a Thai would and I would have to pay for any damage caused . Thais seem to cause more complaints with their inconsiderate behaviour (from me, anyway)

Why would it cost more to accommodate Non Thais ? Are Thais different to everyone else ?
