  1. But Trump fans should not worry! Seriously, I think at this point it's clear that Mr. Trump is <deleted>ting himself wondering how good the steaks are at Club Fed. Trump: 'Sooo Many Witnesses to Everything Good' on Jan 6 (mediaite.com)
  2. Well it's already clear that Trumpism will persist long after Trump is gone.
  3. I'm due for my second booster and looking at the various hospital websites I don't see anything about any programs to get vaccines now. Each phase of this has been a struggle. The initial two Astra Zenica's involving taking taxis to Bangkok, then getting my first Moderna booster in Pattaya. So any leads, tips, etc. for NOW? Not months ago. NOW. I don't mind paying (I expect to). Also is it OK to have the second booster Pfizer if the first was Moderna? (NOTE: Anti-vaxxers, this topic is NOT for you.)
  4. It's only the Trumpists threatening the traditional republicans. Bully followers of a bully leader. It's truly disgusting.
  5. Another really bad thing about out of control rents is that even for the people that can manage to pay those rents, too much of their money is going to rent, drying up spending to all other economic sectors such as restaurants.
  6. What those personality cult Trumpists call rinos are actually the only few real republicans left. Real republicans (though I disagree with them on most things) have values. The only values that Trumpist republicans have is following their dear leader with no regard for objective reality. Such as: HE LOST.
  7. Not that part. The part that says only 1 in 4 people qualified actually receive it as the program is massively underfunded and so many landlords refuse to even participate.
  8. Please refer to the John Oliver video posted above to understand how limited Section 8 subsidized housing is to the people that are qualified for it.
  9. https://news.yahoo.com/column-ashli-babbitt-not-peaceful-222655301.html Column: Ashli Babbitt was not a peaceful protester. It's clear why the cop who shot her was exonerated
  10. No! Georgia governors do not have that power. Nice try. No cigar. https://news.yahoo.com/georgia-prosecutors-open-criminal-investigation-160913711.html
  11. Still in process. We don't know for sure yet. Indicting an ex president would be incredibly momentous. My opinion is that Georgia will probably act but that's short of definite. https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-georgia-indictment-predicted-legal-expert-laurence-tribe-1711018 Trump Indictment Predicted in Georgia By Legal Expert: 'Charges Will Stick' https://www.newsweek.com/trump-against-strong-evidence-georgia-expert-predicts-prosecution-1714999 Trump Up Against 'Strong Evidence' in Georgia, Expert Predicts Prosecution
  12. The wheels of justice are notoriously slow. Georgia is working on the case. The decision to indict or not has not been made public as yet.
  13. He's controls the republican party and may be running for president again. Next time his coup attempt will probably succeed. 2020 was a test run. Ignore him? We don't have that luxury!
  14. I agree we don't want one party rule but it is the Trumpist Banana republicans that are building systems to overturn any election results they don't like. So it is the Trump R party that has morphed into the party of autocracy and arguably fascism. Time is running out to have any hope of stopping them.
  15. How SS is funded. https://www.aarp.org/retirement/social-security/questions-answers/how-is-social-security-funded.html Mostly from SS payroll.taxes. That is NOT borrowed money.
  16. Social security funding is borrowed money? Its supposed to be funded directly by SS payroll taxes, yes? The proposed bill addresses how to fund the 200 as well.
