Well I voted that its over permanently as being a commercial sex oriented zone. To me its obvious that's something for a bit inland. I understand people's skepticism about this but I'm a little surprised that the majority don't agree that it's over. As far as what I would prefer I do prefer the big proposed changes as hetero fleshpot Walking Street was never my scene except for the seaside dining. The gay equivalent to this question is whether South Pattaya Boyztown is permanently finished as well. I think most probably but I'm less sure about that as Chinese ladies used to love the place.

Then vote: I say it ain't so Joe I don't get your complaint at all. There is a YES. There is a NO. There is a DON'T KNOW. There is a NULL.

Aggressively nudged by Covid-19, is Walking Street as a fleshpot nightlife zone permanently finished? Or are reports of its death greatly exaggerated? Refer to the following article for context. Pattaya’s Walking Street refit now depends on China - Pattaya Mail

medicine prices in thailand? (are different pharmacies cheaper)?
Jingthing replied to dj230's topic in Health and Medicine
I like Fascino. With their discount card they are sometimes the cheapest and sometimes not. You are correct that they will not special order meds but they will move meds from one of their own shops to your closer shop. -

That's exactly what I said. Criminals wouldn't copy genetics. They copy famous non generic brands. -

That means generic. Copies are of non generic meds and nobody in their right mind wants to buy them or admit selling them. That's one reason I favor major brand chain pharmacies assuming they are less likely to be selling counterfeits For example non generic more expensive. LISINOPRIL Generic, same medication, cheaper, totally legal and safe LISPRIL -
To add, I know nothing about Camiguin Island but these youtubers are incredibly well travelled and they rate it very highly (ranked SIXTH best for the entire world). For me, sounds too isolated though. (They rate Dumaguette which I have been to as the SECOND best in the world.) Start at 15:00.

I can't really clarify further. -

For the vast majority of meds, correct. For some more controlled medications, they are probably only available at hospitals. This can be a bit awkward with the doctors and hospitals though. Doctors there will send you to the hospital pharmacy as this is all part of their money spinning thing. So to refuse to pay for the initial supply knowing you can get it outside could sometimes be problematic. Also you might know yet if it's a hospital controlled medication or not if it's a new prescription. -

Good questions. Meds in hospital pharmacies are generally much more expensive. If it's a one time thing then you might want to play along and pay it but for chronic conditions most people just buy refills in other pharmacies in which case you should shop around as prices do vary (but will be much less than at private hospitals). In most cases no prescription will be needed but in some cases you'll be given a hospital only controlled medication in which case you'd have no choice even if chronic. -
I would look into: Dumaguete (and nearby towns if you intend to have a vehicle) Iloilo City Mactan Island (close to Cebu City) Tagaytay City (cooler, overlooking a volcano) Bohol I see Boracay as more of a tourist place than an expat living place.

Financial Requirements for Retirement Visa.
Jingthing replied to fgmr's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I'm assuming you're American. You can, BUT No income letters from the U.S. embassy so you MUST import your pension of at least 65k baht EVERY MONTH into a Thai bank account. The minimum for that pure income method is 65k baht a month. Your pension is well above that at least for now. The transfers can't go under 65k. You can't skip any months. Your bank book should show the codes as foreign imported money as well. -

Combination method applications became more complicated after immigration law changed to.require minimum balances over the entire year. In other words for the 800k method using 800k you need 800k two months before the application, three months after the application, and never under 400k for the rest of the year. Therefore if you wish to attempt a combo application it's advisable to check with your local office about whether they accept them at all and if so what are their specific rules about them. Frankly I would advise to avoid such complications if you can and just do a standard 800k application. -
Many people do need to be persuaded to do the right thing. That's not criminal. It's called public health outreach.
