It is normal, had 8 in and outs in the last 2 years and all of mine have been stamped next to last entry stamp. They could not stamp next to last extension, as had other country stamps/visa there. Also helps save space in passports, so no there is no issues.

Have you posted the correct dates? if your passport expires in March, you cannot apply in April, on an expired passport. You should not have got an extension pass March last year. Should it read May not March, or does passport expire in 2025?
