Getting the medical marijuana prescription in California really lowered my opinion of doctors. They all resemble that doctor in Cannonball Run. The valuable thing is that this skepticism helped me avoid getting a Covid shot. It takes doctors off their pedestal.

I miss the California weed and didn't appreciate it while I was there. In Thailand I've noticed it all seems very similar. However, a few weeks ago at the Highland festival I got an infused "Mike Tyson Round 12" preroll and that was one of the better weed experiences I've had here. I never notice a taste in weed, but maybe try the infused products.

My theory is that there is organized and paid opposition to weed legalization. I'm guessing they focus-group tested this message and found a sympathetic audience since most people genuinely don't want to cause discomfort in others. That's why they come across as so upset about it - pure manipulation.

I think there's another profession here that attracts many, many more of the type of people you are concerned about.

My favorite shop in southern Bangkok just closed. They had an espresso machine and you could smoke your purchase out back with their provided bongs. Sometimes local kids would show up and play guitar, or you could sit at a table and use their wifi and drink coffee while enjoying the buzz.

What about all the sunglass shops? I live in southern Bangkok and no one wears sunglasses, hardly anyone wears regular glasses even if they need them, and there are maybe seven stores within a few blocks with two employees each "selling" sunglasses.
