A flotilla of 25 supertankers are headed to the Saudi port of Yanbu on the Red Sea. Yanbu is the terminus for Saudi Arabia's east west pipeline which has a capacity of 7 million barrels a day. Since the Suez Canal can't accommodate these large tankers they will have to risk Houthi attacks as they sail south past Yemen. However, smaller tankers can sail north through the Suez on their way to the Mediterranean and beyond.

Supply and demand is a determining factor in pricing for just about everything including airfares. That's how the cookie crumbles.

There are numerous NGOs offering services for substance abusers and many offer shelter for the homeless and mentally ill. Then there is VA help for veterans. Unless violent, it is difficult to force anyone to make use of these programs. You can thank the ACLU for the release of nonviolent patients from mental institutions. The problem is that many become a danger to themselves and others once they are off medication and out on the street.

While Iran's capabilities are being eroded, they still have enough drones to inflict major damage throughout the region. They haven't been stopped from attacking refineries and other critical infrastructure in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states.

Fuel shortages in Thailand have become widespread. Even if you are willing to pay highly inflated prices to fill your your vehicle most stations are out of gas and diesel. Those with all-electric vehicles are happy that they own one. One plus is this should cut down on air pollution.

First of all, condolences for those four you mentioned. Back on topic, what you have described is a major disaster with no end in sight. Trump continually moves the targets and his own camp is calling him out and even contradicting him before the whole world.

Iran still has thousands of drones left, more than enough to threaten shipping in the strait. As I mentioned in a previous post, drones are cheaper and more effective at this job than navy vessels. The waterway is only a short distance from the Iranian mainland. The U.S. forces already have their hands full and no matter what Trump says they can't do everything at once.

This is not going to be the slam/dunk Trump envisioned. It doesn't look if Iran will be running out of steam anytime soon.
