Hi Ellis.
Thanks for the information. Well yes my girlfreind is Thai. But i dont really know how far
i want to go down that route as yet, as early days.
cheers jb1.
Hi JB1Not sure if this will be any help to you but my wife recently bought some land in HH. We were prepared to just go to the land office and do the transfer (well by herself actually...didn't want to complicate matters by getting involved) but it became apparent that the seller wasn't being totally honest. She contacted a local lawyer who for 4000B came out to the land office and made sure that everything was done by the book. My wife was very impressed with his professional manner. I don't know if he speaks English but his name is Parkhum Sabma. His address is 1807 Chomsinth Rd, HH and phone numbers 032 512282, 513146, 01-9425797.
If your wife is Thai it shouldn't be a problem. I know there are others in HH but when they charge like wounded bulls!
Regards
Ellis

Fresh Inn is a bonafide hotel, not a guesthouse. It's virtually new and directly opposite the Hilton. Nice place. Good location. And affordable.
Stayed at PP Villa from 6 Jan for 10 days rates 1,200bht, no guest charge, breakfast extra.
Also stayed there Sept 06 for a few days rate 900bht. very clean, comfortable hotel, freindly
staff, excellent.
Email. [email protected]
Hope this helps jb1

Hi i've recently returned from a trip to Hua Hin. The purpose of trip to purchase a property. I met an english guy through a girl, who is having a house built through a Thai property developer. The land is regestered in his Thai girlfriends name, then leased to him. The house he has commisioned the developer to build. They have not used a solicitor at all. Any ideas on how safe or not this might be. As i am tempted myself. jb1

Hi all. Can anyone help. I arrive in Bangkok International airport 02 Jan 07 at 18.50hrs. I'm looking for ways of getting to Hua Hin. Taxi seems ok if a little pricey. Bus looks best option, time tables seem to vary from site to site. Has anyone made this journey and or can confirm times. Thanks jb1.

Hiya fj709.
I use world wide currencies. I think best rates. You need to register with them.
Give them a look on the web.
