I totally agree with u.. people go to Thailand without travelinsurance is stupid.They cant afford to pay 200 pound a year for that but go to holidays and driving around without helmet.And after the family go to the net asking for 35.000 pounds.No thanks..im not give anything to rise their needs.

Actually someone knocked my door in Bangkok at 4.30 am..i though maybe a female i had before so i open the door.It was a policeman and a taxidriver.They was looking for a foreigner who had refuse to pay the taxi trip. They said sorry when the taxidriver confirmed it wasn't me They checked every room at the hotel where foreigners stayed

I never trust africans in Thailand.They r scammers.One person who stayed in the same hotel as i did said he was a goldtrader.. yeah sure The next day he was thrown out of the hotel because he didn't pay for the room the last 4 days.Told the manager that he would go to his agent in Pattaya to get alot of money. The manager didnt believe him and empty his room and told him to never come back again. I heard afterwords that he stayed with a african hooker.

Im from Norway.. lived in Thailand for 6 years before i took my exwife and our kids to Norway 18 years ago. Anyway i been to Thailand 76 times.Last trip for 74 days in Bangkok.I use to go visit my kids grandparents in surin everytime im in Thailand.Stay for a day.My plan was to celebrate xmas and new year in Bangkok but i had a accident and broke my arm Had to stay in hospital for a week because the broken arm was terrible and i needed a big surgery.I allways booking one year open ticket so thats no problem for me.I will go back after my arm is ok again. Then im going to Bangkok.. Manila and Bali.I think about 6 months traveling around.I dont have a gf now and i will stay single.I love my freedom

I not been there for 13 years.Will not go back.I prefer Bangkok snd hua-hin.Safer places.

A fat kid means they have money same as alot of garbage around some houses specifically in esan areas.

I never had any problems with this I have about 50 thai friends who's allways been nice to me. I speak thai well makes it easier to understand echother.I been living in surin before.. allways safe there.That time i helped the local police to translate if they arrested a foreigner.They called me if they needed help about that. I used to go to karaoke in prasat with my thai police friends.Many joinful nigths there where we allways ended up in a VIP room with some girls What happened there i will not tell here but it was funny times I stayed away from farang bars there The last years i been in Bangkok and hua-hin and always feel safe.If thais in a bar start fighting echother i just leave quickly.

The next is foreigner home owners.Wait and see.Nobody can feel safe anymore. Im happy i only rent and that will continue rest of my life.

He speak fluent Thai..i guess thai mother or he study thai.Should be easy to find this guy.

I been working with Brits.. everyone nice.I meet brits in fex Thailand.Almost ALL bad No teeth.. weigh 300 pound..full of tattoo.. screaming the F..word all over the place.Smell terrible because no shower.When wearing nice clothes is a football shirt..if rhey ever change it weekly.My friend get stabbed in surin by a Brit Terrible people but some is really good.Im an european myself so im not a racist.Just say what I mean.

I understand ur problem.I learned to speak thai well.My exwife learned me even her English was wery good. After she moved to my country she had to take 600 hours to learn my language.I did a mistake and only speak thai to her.Anyway when she meet her thaifriends here they only spoke thai so my language went downhill. Even at work they only spoke thai.My suggestion is u try to learn more thai even its not easy..it took me years. When im in Thailand and meet thai friends we only speak thai even many of them speak English well.

Buy and wait until Thailand take it from u.U cant trust this country at all.

Right.I allways leave my phone and creditcards in the safe in my room when i go out for drinks.Take the cash i think i need for the nigth with me and go back home when rhe money is finished.

Thailand is not safe at all I think if go out alone at nights its a good idea to wear a bulletproof west and a helmet.

Some time ago i had a party with some ladies at my apartment.At about 3 am the booze was empty. I went outside and stopped a taxi.I speak thai well and i asked if he know where i could get liquor to buy at that time.He made some phonecalls and he took me to the big building where the company distribution alcohol to 7/11 and other shops.The manager took me inside and i could buy whatever i wanted to a fair price.So i did. The taxi brought me back and everybody get happy.I allways have some liquor and beers in my apartment but i doesn't mean i drink everyday.

I never had any problems riding with motorcycle taxies.The same cartaxies.From where i live in sukunvit the drivers know the shohrt way avoiding the main street.Faster and less traffic and end up in sukunvit soi 7 from the other site.Goodbye to soi ASOKE everytime.

I never been there so i didnt know that.Anyway i wouldn't drive there.

Some of my thai female friends have told me that their bf/husband go meeting a ladyboy when they think nobody knows.Many of the ladies have friends all over fex Bangkok/Pattaya so if u go alone somewhere there is eyes watching u at all time.I dont look down at anybody..they can do whatever they want. Why not asking why so many foreigners get married with a prostitute? The story the op tell i have never experienced.I been to some weddings in Thailand and everyone was happy and had a great time.Dont think that every former prostitute is bad girls.
