    Yes, and it ain’t pretty. Many of the older short time rooms have dodgy plumbing that goes straight into the drains and into the sea. And many of the illegal buildings on the west side of walking street. While it is soapy much of the sperm, urine and fecaes gets washed into the sea creating a unique blend of those three ingredients with flavors from all around the globe creating an international taste that is unique to Pattaya.

    They are a lot tougher than most westerners. I have often thought the same thing though. Maybe it is because their food is fresher when cooked. Usually grown locally and used before 1-3 days whereas in the west it takes that long to get it to the shops, transported all over the country. Tough people these Thais.

    Especially down in Soi 6 Stocky. They start early down there, about 2 pm, so 12 hours later the attractive ones have had 3-10 clients already. Maybe the Irishman likes stirring the porridge?
