Trump made a lot a promises before the 2016 election. And failed to deliver most of them.
A big beautiful wall (about 50 kms, well short) getting the Mexicans to pay for it (they didn’t) paying down government debt (it went up by 8 trillion) , draining the swamp (he drowned in it being impeached twice) , locking her up (he didn’t), winning a trade war with China (he lost), making the military great again (ended up fighting with the top brass instead), promised to raise wages and reduce taxes for the middle class (he didn’t), said companies would come back to the USA ( they didn’t, many eg Harley Davidson moved production overseas instead), engaged in the biggest money printing exercise the world has ever seen devaluing the Greenback and causing inflation, botched the Coronavirus and as a result rushed a substandard vaccine through while spending more time on the golf course than in the WhiteHouse etc etc
It was a never ending botch up.
Thrown out by the people after a rare one term. America wasn’t great again.
Did he learn anything?
Will this time be better?
Or will it be a non event like last time and more of the same spin with no or poor results.
Biden was very terrible also, but that doesn’t make Trump good.
