How do you know that? Are you sitting next to them and comparing? Running double blind tests? A friend of mine buys buds for <30 per gram and Trim for as little as 5 baht per gram. Apart from bud size, there's little difference in appearance and smoking quality. That's not to say that one wouldn't pay more for a high quality organically grown product. But the <30 baht stuff is sticky, pungent and doesn't need much to do the trick.

That's what happens when you ignore the specification and buy on price. Most don't even think about the processor in a TV. Just as I would not buy a PC with an ATOM/Celeron equivalent processor.

What you don't seem to grasp is that Microsoft themselves provide these workarounds. It's just that the average user, like yourself, prefers an 'all-in-one' option and Rufus is it. The person behind your link tried Rufus 4.5, which came out in May. If you/they checked his website, as opposed to some freeware list, they would have succeeded and you might have been able to post up to date info, instead of your frequent scaremongering.

You can fix that problem and get a head-start with using Windows 11, rather than next October, having to learn a new OS on a new laptop. You can keep Windows 10 on the pitifully slow HDD and install Windows 11 on the NVMe SSD. It will fly. Start up in seconds. Windows Update taking place whilst you work without disturbance... Whenever you feel like suffering, you can boot back into the HDD 😊 You'll have both Windows 10 & 11 on the same device and you can still buy a new device next year. But you'll have an excellent device as a back up, rather than a crippled and frustrating one. So your behaviour doesn't seem...optimal.

I've given that place at least three opportunities due to recommendations from other people. Perhaps each time, they've had an off day or some people just have very low standards. It's one of the few places wherein we rejected a dish as inedible. So salty that we couldn't eat it. Thai friend sent it back. Other visits weren't impressive either.

It's not about the money, but the lack of sense. Please explain why you would choose to suffer for a year, for the lack of taking a day and a couple of thousand baht to make using the device a pleasure instead of a pain?

No. Your source and news is outdated. I already wrote about this earlier. They were using an older version of Rufus that needed to be updated. In the meantime the developer released a script that you could apply manually and then released 4.6 Beta. 4.6 Stable was released today.
