I don't know about easily entertained, but I admire the gift of the prose, something I don't possess. And where is it stated that AN is not a site for juvenile fairy-tale writing? Most of the stuff on AN is somewhat, if not very juvenile. But what makes this story juvenile in your opinion? To me it portrayed an account of how things can often go strangely wrong in Thailand when you least expect it. Anyway, what kind of story or writing do you find entertaining? And what are you really expecting to see when you come to this part of the forum? A bunch of old men moaning about their drinking problems or about their Thai partner woes with regards to money? Or maybe a story about how the food they ordered in a restaurant wasn't cooked well enough? Is that what you find entertaining?
