    Well: 1. As explained previously, there is no such concept as measuring the strength in the terms anywhere except at the source of the quake. 2. Any similar measurement in Bangkok will have a large range, since it varies wildly with location and£ type of ground/water at the measurement point.

    What standards exist here for quake-proof constriction: Thailand, like Northern Europe “never has earthquakes” and therefore, in both locations, there are no such standards.
