  1. I can see why. Anyone that sort of looks old can just say senior token please. It would be a monumental hassle and slow the q down to no end if you had to proper your passport for one ride one token
  2. I'm really shocked because every card that is issued needs a passport. No idea how that happened assuming you're not of age at the time that you got the card
  3. What a silly outlook. For what it's worth I worked a decade here and contributed greatly to the society by assisting young people get into some excellent foreign universities and Thai professional programs. Can I have a card please sir 🙏 🙏 🥺 Senior card and it really encourages me to get out and about. I love the MRT and I wouldn't even think of living on the dreaded BTS farang ghetto line. BTS has the senior card I believe but it is definitely not available to foreigners. I've asked a few times.
  4. The article is pretty much rubbish and something you would read on TripAdvisor. Probably written with AI at that I have a friend coming to BKK and he's looking for a massage joint doing happy endings. He's visited before but just stop over for two nts. Now he's coming for a few weeks. I'm married and no clue. I'm sure I could guess a dozen of them, but whether the experience is a good one no idea. He'd visited a few times before when I'd lived in Pattaya almost two decades ago. I think many of these places just clip joints tbh. Massage up on Ratchada won't work for him. Aside from a few important temples, palace and maybe a rooftop bar for a sunset snapshot .. I really find that Bangkok has little to offer. Maybe I've just been here too long but just seems all of the mystery and exoticism is long been washed out of the place I understand the market in Ampawa is crap now. Chatachak finished
  5. Rip The story behind getting Sutherland in this music video it is quite touching.
  6. He's done very few good movies. Critically acclaimed is a reach. For me his best stuff: Wild at Heart Raising Arizona Natl Treasure I Wild at Heart was epic it is one of my favorite movies of all time Not seen Pig. Unbearable weight was meh. Ghost rider lol Had some really hottie Asian wife (above??)
  7. I dislike the buzz from ingesting personally. Before you ruin all that nice bud think thrice. Process is a hassle and results far from uniform. Even 25mg quarter cookie made my eyes blood red as well
  8. Swatch Group service overhaul is way out of line now. Up 150% over 15 years ago... Basically it's just Thai labor and a few parts. I own two Omega seamasters one was inherited. If I didn't have this watches I wouldn't buy another Swiss watch due to service costs. Unbelievably out of line Can't trust Thai watchmakers to work on a Chrono. Parts need to be ordered from Swatch and for that you need authorization. Any true watch Bros should have a look at thewatchregulator Hes on YouTube and TikTok. The guy is an absolute riot. Was fired from swatch over his comments about I believe it was pos Tissot PRX
  9. Ironically, these watches rarely fool watch bros. Women don't care. I assume all Rolexes in Thailand to be fake (unless it's an older oyster - which I love and knowing wears).I think most Thais will as well. Breitling watches which I've never been a fan of often have extremely detailed dials and bezels very difficult to copy properly. AP watches and the others .. the really excellent copies will cost you probably in excess of 45,000 b Some very nice Seikos hitting the market. Far better choice in quality and ethics. I'm not against sticking it to these large corporations that sell trash. That's not the ethical issue. Rather, it's you and your fake watch and your fake everything. This makes you in essence - a fake These days many expensive 'swiss' watches are BS. Nevertheless, buying a copy of the BS watch just marks you as totally daft poser.
  10. Lol. He referencedva tiny watch shop in Pattaya selling Citizen and probably low end Orient, Seikos Did you go to the show in paragon? Ulysse Nardin, IWC? Omega must have a display
  11. 1 No good deed goes unpunished 2 Villagers cannot have nice things
  12. Ratchada. I've also looked at Big C in Lat Phrao and Ratchada. Villa seems well stocked with Campbell's so my guess is either shipping/stocking issues or it's just not popular enough to stock at all
  13. What watch are you after bro?
  14. Solly, Villa no habp I know you're looking for Campbell's but to be honest I think the Baxters would probably be better. Good luck Seems easy enough to make as well
  15. 🙄 Yes, in my opinion, as a GENERAL rule yes. Even women making 500k thb per year.
  16. What are you on about?! I don't know I was discussing only what I had observed in some dumbaxx TikTok post. That's it.
  17. There are fifty year old women working in pubs and bars on soi 4 and cowboy sure. Toy bar is granny heaven - but these birds on the soi their entire lives. I just met one the other day that was 50 although that was just between us. I guessed her age as 50. I had to say I hope you're not offended but..50. she admitted to that - very well could have been 52. Kinda sexy still. I could see some drunken tourist maybe taking that back to his room for some stupid amount of money. She said she'd worked in a factory for 10 years her eyesight went and she found it boring af. My bar girl antenna tell me that might have been a bit of a fib. She looked pretty hard for only 10 years in. But that still serious time on the game Stumble Inn has more than a few freelance birds well over 45. Most informal jobs totally suck and many freelance jobs suck. Poor, working even MC Thais get themselves into debt and I imagine miserable lives after 50.
  18. Well, who knows?? Certainly most seemed to have financial issues such as carrying debt. Others were discussing high costs of living, making g ends meet, their future. That seemed genuine. All women are looking for security - especially middle aged women either divorced or outside their prime. It's all genuine. I think it's more question of sincerity and what they are willing have / are bringing to the table.
  19. Probably rentals. I see lots of rentals in Bangkok. But honestly unless you're following these couples around you don't know what dragging about really is. I take my wife out to eat am are or whatever it's called. Do I get judged as someone "dragging my wife around" ?
  20. No they are not secondhand. But you can find some very fine watches in excellent condition in the second hand market. Many of the watches that were mentioned in the op cost tens of thousands of dollars and some perhaps over $100,000 US
  21. As an aside - I would like to add that I had seen some ticktock posters - Thai women. Posting pictures or posting pictures of them with their foreign boyfriend or like that. The comments were a lot of women some were definitely sketchy but some look like proper office workers. They are all chattering about how they should all try to find foreign husband. The kicker here is so many of them talked about their debts and how they they can't manage them. Others were like I like to find a foreign guy who can love me and support me and they seem quite genuine.
  22. It's an interesting question. The fact is you have equally needy young people perhaps more so coming up. The older folks have spent their time at the trough. My wife's retirement age at her corporation is 55. It's a media company and so youth is valued and that's understandable. Target audience is 25 not 65. She can continue on at the employer's discretion on one year contract without health benefits. Most jobs and most government jobs I believe the retirement age is 60. It is extremely difficult for a foreigner to get work after 60 years old Thai pension is for all intents and purposes non-existent. What is really interesting is all of the young people not having children any longer. So, prior a couple had a bunch of children and they kind of sort of cobbled together a bit of cash to help their parents. Now, there will be no children and no money there at all. Funny, I was just thinking about this a month or two ago
  23. I'd like to buy an economic yet good quality camping knife that is either gravity or automatic. Perhaps 3in blade.
  24. No one need drag anyone around. When I was working we had a perfect setup. I left very early in the morning giving her a couple hours in the condo alone. I returned early and I had a few hours before she got home. I don't remember my father dragging my mother or us children around. When he had things to do he did it, when he could bring us kids along he did it and when we went out as a family he did it.
