  1. My best friend got addicted to heroin. Nothing to love about. Can't really understand this statement.
  2. I really thought that this could be a discussion like... Marijuana - was a "invented name" given for hemp. In WWII american farmers were encouraged to plant hemp. (!) After alcohol prohibition was lifted, a new scapegoat had to be found. A politician named Anslinger managed to demonize this cultivated plant. So correctly the name of this plant is either cannabis (sativa/indica/ruderalis) or hemp. Marijuana is a invented name. But who cares about facts nowdays.
  3. From historical territorial expansions to modern crises, leaders have long used external conflicts to shift focus from problems at home. Known as Diversionary War Theory, this concept explains how governments sometimes escalate international disputes to rally citizens and sideline domestic issues. ... What is Diversionary War Theory? Picture a country grappling with big challenges: a struggling economy, unemployment, or growing public unrest. The leader’s popularity is slipping, and people are frustrated. To change the conversation, the leader sparks a conflict with another region or nation, rallying citizens around a shared cause. This is the essence of Diversionary War Theory — a strategy where leaders use external conflicts to distract from troubles at home. ... Diversionary conflicts rely on a few key elements: Nationalism: Leaders tap into pride and unity, framing the conflict as a matter of national honor. A common cause, like reclaiming territory or defending borders, brings people together. Media: News outlets amplify the conflict, often portraying it as essential for the nation’s strength. Today, social media spreads these narratives even faster, shaping public opinion in real time. Timing: Leaders often act when domestic problems peak, such as during economic slumps or political scandals, to redirect the conversation. 4. So this version here is also nice. Maybe not poltical correct. But hits the nail somehow. Just for fun - it's worth watching 🙂
  5. So if your statement should be correct - that would be a problem for the occupator of the White House. Or do I miss something?!
  6. It seems that certain magastanies are still quite upset after only about 2700 peacefull protest marches in the US against Trump and his administration. A few days ago… and you‘re still bothered. 😂 Or rather - you just wanted to have the last comments here. Nah, lets go on discussing…
  7. Correct. This was already clarified earlier. Thanks anyway.
  8. In general I can't believe that she can have / use a mobile if she's still in prison. Maybe she's unlucky married only?
  9. Now that's really big news. Emm... The very first line in this thread. Ontario launches $75 million ad campaign using the words of Ronald Reagan to argue against tariffs.
  10. I allow to extend your post with the link. One can agree or disagree with positions. But Ronald Reagan expressed himself in a statesmanlike manner. Something Trump isn't able to do. The last 1.5 minutes speak for itself.
  11. A few photographs - what a lady!
  12. Hardly to believe that a european would write "I'm a euro". Get a green card for the US. Or move to Hungaria. As a "euro" no problem. Thats for sure a much better place for you.
  13. Sorry to say - thats not incorrect. It‘s an absolute lie. Trump doesen‘t need Europe - thats a clear statement from him (regardless if true or not). You have no idea how Trump is disqualified in the posts of newspapers in Europe. MASSIVE!
  14. Test test… one two one two… check check… one two Mic doesen‘t seem to work. 😀
  15. Nobody ever said that Canada and lots of other countries don't "feel the pinch". But as noted in another topic - who needs friends? Trump gets his pockets filled. You seem to like to get ripped off. That's absolutley fine with me.
  16. So that's around 230'000 Baht. Nice - maybe try not to spend everything in one night. Split it up in 2 nights 🤪. Enjoy - and congrats.
  17. Ah, so the bullying Trump and his admin with the same manners are OK, constantly almost every day. When another country doesen‘t accept it and talks back - thats then dissapointing. Aha. Your compass may need to be readjusted.
  18. So you didn't read the full article (link is given) "The Ontario ad has aired in major markets, including D.C., and during the Toronto Blue Jays’ games. “We’re going to repeat that message to every Republican district there is right across the entire country,” Ford said last week before the ad launched."
  19. Who cares what you think about Doug Ford? Only hate spewing - no discussion culture - magastani-style.
  20. Trump terminates trade talks with Canada over tariffs ad featuring Reagan President Trump said he's ended trade talks with Canada over a TV ad that's running in the province of Ontario, which he claimed "fraudulently" featured the late President Reagan "speaking negatively" about tariffs. The big picture: Trump accused Canadian officials of trying to interfere in a legal challenge to his tariffs that's before the U.S. Supreme Court with the anti-tariffs ad that Reagan's foundation said misrepresented a 1987 address on free trade by the former president. The foundation said it's reviewing its legal options. Driving the news: "They only did this to interfere with the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court, and other courts," Trump claimed on Truth Social, ahead of oral arguments the justices are due to hear early next month in a case challenging his tariffs. "TARIFFS ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO THE NATIONAL SECURITY, AND ECONOMY, OF THE U.S.A. Based on their egregious behavior, ALL TRADE NEGOTIATIONS WITH CANADA ARE HEREBY TERMINATED," he added. What they're saying: A spokesperson for Ontario Premier Doug Ford told CBC News his government hadn't done anything wrong and that the excerpt was unedited. Why it matters: This is what some economists see as a key risk of the Trump 2.0 era: never-ending trade wars, fragile negotiations that Trump could blowing up at any moment — and the economic uncertainty that comes along with both. https://www.axios.com/2025/10/24/trump-us-canada-trade-tariffs-carney-reagan

"We're going to get the drug prices down ... 1000%, 600%, 500%, 1500%, numbers that are not even thought to be achievable" - Donald Trump A stable genius https://www.c-span.org/clip/white-house-event/user-clip-trump-declares-hell-reduce-drug-prices-down-1000-1500-using-a-certain-talent-he-has-numbers-not-e/5168683
  23. In summer, Trump said the East Wing would be "modernized." Its ballroom will ultimately be more than 8,300 square meters (89'340 squre feet) in size. By comparison, the floor space of the White House next door is only 5,100 square meters (54'895 square feet). So his ballroom is bigger than the rest of the white house. Okok. More important: What is with the Epstein files?
  24. So how many friends does this actual administation have? Argentina and Russia for sure. But the occupator of the White House doesen‘t need other global friends. His pockets are filled, so who cares for friends…
