Denied Entry
There are MANY reports of people having issues returning to Thailand after spending 60 day plus a 30 day extension. The 30-day extensions seems to be what is triggering them, as they believe 90 days is more than enough time as a tourist. Anything more than that is abusing visa exempt entries and is not typical tourist activity.

Staying one month need help to accelerate visa process pattaya
Most agents don't want anything to do with marriage visas. Local offices don't have the authority to issue marriage extensions and must send the applications to the regional headquarters, which is why it takes time for these extensions.

200k for tourist visa and every night hotel booking requirement
How would the evisa system know if you have permanent residence or not? Permanent residents can apply, but others cannot. Therefore it's an option because some people might qualify.

200k for tourist visa and every night hotel booking requirement
The e-visa website does not filter what options are available to you based on your passport. The rules about METV only being available from your home country or where you have permanent residence are still in force. You're going to be wasting the application fee if you apply for a METV outside of your home country.

90 days reporting - Can I do it online ?
No immigration office in Thailand will accept an online report after the due date. The 7 day grace period must always be done in person.

Norway Halts Income Letters at Thai Embassy; Retirees Affected
It's also against US Federal law to offer bribes anywhere in the world. But I don't see Americans concerned with using agents or paying off police for speeding tickets in Thailand, which would be illegal. There's a reason they stopped accepting documents on the honor system.

Norway Halts Income Letters at Thai Embassy; Retirees Affected
It would literally be impossible for embassy staff to provide certification of income for Americans. They have no way to verify that, and every potential way is easily forged and faked. There's a reason it was stopped. They simply don't have access to even government based income, let alone pensions and 401k etc.

access denied to enter in thailand
There has been a disclaimer about ED visa for many years already for Elite. Stating that any visa sponsored by an institution not endorsed by the Department of Education could be disqualifying.

Latest crossing time for foreigners at the Chiang Khong–Huay Xai border?
Probably pushed it too late and will go on overstay.

Norway Halts Income Letters at Thai Embassy; Retirees Affected
What's your point? If a foreign woman comes to Thailand and marries a Thai man, most of this same applies. There is no financial requirement as the husband is expected to provide for their wife, and they can apply for citizenship after a couple of years. How many Thai men are going to your country after marrying women from there?

Ed visa
13 years ago. Don't worry about it. Most people that get caught out by not cancelling an extension that requires cancellation are caught due to the passport. I've seen more stories than I can count about people that just got a new passport and then there were no issues. I don't know why that's the case, since it should all be in their system. I'm sure you have a new passport if it was 13 years ago, so pretend it never happened as I highly doubt it will come back to bother you.

Norway Halts Income Letters at Thai Embassy; Retirees Affected
I can guarantee with 100% certainty that the immigration officers don't care. It's not their job to care. It's their job to enforce the law.

Norway Halts Income Letters at Thai Embassy; Retirees Affected
They absolutely, 100% will NOT accept any document from you. There are only TWO options to use income for retirement extension: 1) Embassy certified income 2) Proof of 12 months of international transfers of at least 65,000 baht per month in your Thai bank account. If you still wish to use your income after they stop issuing the letter, start making plans now. Start the international transfers into your Thai bank account each and every month. The beginning of the month is better to help avoid any potential issues with transfer delays and such.

access denied to enter in thailand
You will be pre-cleared by the agent's contacts at the airport. They will have already sent your passport information to the contact and will get approval from that contact along with the price to get you in. You will have to upload a photo of yourself shortly before arriving. You will then meet an immigration officer before you get to immigration (hence the photo) and they will walk you through the Fast Track area, open a new window just for you, and stamp you in. This will all be arranged before your arrival. If the agent cannot do it, they will not accept your case.

90 day report after reentering Thailand - Chaengwattana
There's no problem with the online system. It's their policy that the first report when returning to Thailand must be in person, not any issue with the online system. Bangkok can reliably be submitted by mail. The response is very long, but it will come eventually as long as it is postmarked 14 days before your due date.

Thailand Digital Arrival Card. TDAC
Based on what I've heard from the agency that is running https://tdac.agents.co.th/ this is actually not uncommon. They were getting this about 1 in 500 entries. But as you said, the e-mail contains the correct information and you'll be okay using your TDAC that you received by e-mail. Typical Thai IT....

access denied to enter in thailand
@ThaiVisaCentre is now offering safe entry for 2000 baht, or if your case proves to be a difficult one, it's 4000 baht. You would fill out their entry form, and then in the addons after you proceed to the next page you would choose the appropriate option. https://tdac.agents.co.th/

Transfer non-OA visa & extension stamp to new Passport - Chaeng Wattana
If you're in the final process of getting an LTR, I wouldn't start playing games with agents. The LTR is too valuable to risk screwing that up now.

Important change to Extension of Temporary stay requirement !
Yes, there are immigration offices that will send you back to the TM30 desk to get a fresh copy of "their" TM30, even if you have one generated from the official TM30 system. Makes no sense, but TiT.

Non o Visa Vientiane Laos.
They do have them in their system, but whether or not they bother to check is another matter. When they deal with people all day that are either entering visa exempt (no visa) or people with a visa that hand it to them, they stop checking every single person in the system about having a visa or not. Especially if it's busy. That's why everyone who has a visa should print it out and hand it over with their passport. To do otherwise is just to invite mistakes.

Thailand Implements Financial Requirements for Tourist Visas in 2025
It's been that amount for years at an airport. Based on what many people have reported as well as multiple embassy websites have posted.

Thailand Implements Financial Requirements for Tourist Visas in 2025
At airports, it's 10,000 per person, 20,000 per family if you are entering "Visa on Arrival" where you apply for and pay for a 15-day visa at the airport. If you are arriving "visa exempt" it's 20,000 per person or 40,000 per family. At land borders, it's generally 10,000 per person.

Early 90 Day Report
The system that sends the e-mails has no idea that you left the country. It's simply set to e-mail you 90 days after your previous online submission.

Where to go to cancel a visa?
Except this post isn't about marriage extensions. It's about education extensions, which you DO have to cancel.
