American Passport Renewal Process
They assume everyone is, or knows someone who is.

Ban Phu Nam Ron crossing.
As far as Myanmar goes, all of the land borders are still closed to foreigners, but Ranong is still open for border bounces.

Thai Driver’s License Expiring Soon – Visa Options?
That's basically the exact wording of the Royal Gazette. Tourist Visa, special classification. It doesn't give clarity on exactly what that means though.

Is this new in 90 days report?
Keep in mind that passport nation is a required field in the TM30 system. If the hotel clerk accepts your Thai DL with passport number on it, but doesn't ask you what country you are from, they are either not doing a TM30 for you, or are taking a guess at the country.

How long before I need to leave country?
You're going to need to either border bounce for a 60 day visa exempt stamp before your extension runs out, or you're going to need to apply for the 1-year extension. Those are the only options without going on overstay, which you should never do.

Getting residence certificate at One Stop Service Center - Chamchuri Square in 2025
Actually the "fee" has gone up. It's now 800 baht if you have an LTR or 1300 baht if not. Of course if you have the time to wait for it in the mail, it will continue to be free.

Thai Driver’s License Expiring Soon – Visa Options?
You can add Chiang Mai to the list of provinces where you can get a residence certificate on any visa or visa exempt with just a TM30. 500 baht for next day pickup.

Can I still refresh my temporary stay by going abroad ?
There is no "6 months" or "calendar year" anymore. All those rules have been gone since July. But you have been spending an excessive amount of time in Thailand and do run the risk of encountering issues. You should not try leaving on your own, you should use a land border bounce agency that will ensure you can get out and back in without any issues.

TM 6
Technically yes it's still required if you have one.

TM30 Online - receipt?
It can be retrieved from any version of the TM30 website. But just know there are some immigration offices that don't care what proof of TM30 you bring, then will send you to their TM30 desk to get that immigration office's version of the TM30 report. They won't do anything for you until you've "converted" your fully official proof of TM30 from the TM30 system to their version. Make it make sense.

Extension of stay
Nothing will happen. Go in with your passport and receive your extension. All marriage extensions have to be sent to a higher office and cannot be done locally. The under consideration stamp is to give time for that approval and for the home visit if they decide to do one. If they accepted your application then 99.9% of the time you will get your extension without issues. They would not have accepted your paperwork otherwise.

Is this new in 90 days report?
Impossible to say what the issue is. Often when they deny a TM47 they list a reason, did they not list one the 2nd time? TM47 online generally works for people, until it doesn't. You can ask when you go into the office why it was rejected, but it could be many reasons. Most common is typo in your address so it didn't EXACTLY match the TM30, but they may also see the time between your stay in Tak and your TM30 back home and know you didn't file within 24 hours. So they may want to have a chat with you about that, or just give you a hard time and make you go in person because of it.

90 Day Reporting at Jomtien in person - how early and late can it be done?
Now that you are late, you are late. Don't go out of your way to file and pay. The fine is the same whether you are 8 days late or 8 months late. Just pay it next time you need to use immigration. You might even get a freebie or two if the next time you need to go is 3-6 months or more.

Thailand Visa Exemption (60 days) and Visa On Arrival (VOA) (15 days)
With an METV you should be able to get about 9 months in Thailand if you maximize the use of it. In today's environment, you are unlikely to get 9 months in Thailand using visa exempt entries on your own without encountering issues or using workarounds. Did you not look at your embassy's website before you started applying for the visa? It has all of the fees and requirements for the various visas and should be the first place to consult before anything else.

Yellow House Book and Pink Card
Don't think it has anything to do with this. There are just some amphur that make it impossible for any foreigners to get a yellow book and pink ID card. It doesn't matter the reason they want it, they just don't do it at all. While other offices are happy to do it with minimal paperwork. TiT where each office of anything is its own kingdom and can make its own rules.

Additional Visa Requirements ?
There is no automated machine for entering the country. Not likely to happen for a long time, and the first people it will be for will be visa exempt with an ETA. I doubt those with actual visas will have any opportunity to use automated gates for years to come.

Under Consideration - 2 months
Initiative is frowned upon for Thais. It can and will get you demoted or fired from your job, just for questioning the rules or your superiors. You do what you are told, you check all the boxes on the list, and you don't ask questions. That is how you keep your job and keep your bosses happy. They learn from this very young starting in school and it continues through their entire life.

LTR Visa is Now available for Long Term Residency
The 1 million in assets and the 500k investment in Thailand remain as requirements while the yearly income requirement is gone.

Very confused about E visa system
Pretend you submitted your application in person, because that's how the embassy sees it. You have to wait until your visa is issued before you can leave. Same as before, just a different way of applying. They're not forcing you to stay. They don't hold your passport. But if you leave they can cancel your application without refund. Multiple reports of people being asked for a follow-up proof of location like a letter from hotel manager stating you are still staying in the country, and even saw a report of someone being called into the embassy for an interview after 10 days.

Anyone change from LTR visa to O Visa to Avoid Health Insurance Requirement?
Why are you even maintaining insurance that you only got for the LTR? You should have health insurance yes, but the type of your choosing. There is no followup about this at all. You don't need to have health insurance for the LTR for years 2-5. You just need to make sure you buy another year of qualified insurance before you apply for years 6-10 and then let it lapse and use whatever insurance you choose.

60 days extension after 60 days visa exemption
It's not just possible, many immigration offices will actually require you to take the 30 day extension first before they will even entertain a request for the 60 day extension. Not sure why that is.

Non B visa for family members
You can only get dependent visas based on a work visa if your employer supports it. They will have to provide paperwork to you that allows you to get these.

Return flight more than 60 days after departure
It's not a fake ticket. The company you buy the ticket from is the one that does the purchase and refund. Paying for the convenience of not having to tie up your own money and do it yourself.
