Hi Folks,
Thank you all for your input and yes you may use it for your Desktop Background MJCM.
Found out later that I had one of those Senior Moments once again for not reading all the rules.
Oh well never mind, will keep trying.

Dear win13,
Your entry Ayuttay, Thailand
has been disqualified from the challenge called Travels: South East Asia.
Regards,
Challenge Host
Yep, and no reason as to why as well. Will ask them. Maybe Ayuttay had an a missing?

Hi Folks,
A new topic which hopefully will draw you members into taking part.
"Fire at work" means any type of fire and fireworks as well. Was thinking to only post Fireworks photos, but that would exclude the other Fires from candles to lighters, wood fires etc.
So lets kick off with a Fire that Worked for me in a recent Rock Songs - Portrayed By A Photograph Challenge, A Pink Floyd Composition - Portrayed by a Photo
My entry was this:-
That sums me up quite well I thinkRemember when you were young, You shone like the sun. Shine on you crazy diamond. Now there's a look in your eyes, Like black holes in the sky. Shine on you crazy diamond. You were caught on the crossfire Of childhood and stardom, Blown on the steel breeze. Come on you target for faraway laughter, Come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine!http://www.dpreview....ge.aspx?ID=7899
and came in at number 4 out of 65 this past week

Is that a cigarette in the beer ?
Disgusting smokers.
Well at least they did put their fag out and did not burned the whole place down, as there were no ash trays around. Now you know as I was there

if you stand in one place and take five or 6 photos starting left to right (or vice versa) and stich in photoshop, you usually end up with a curv, the point of which is the center shot where you shot straight forward
the two panos of singapore in this post are prime examples. the more photos off of center the more pronounced the curve
Does one of those panoramic heads that mount on top of the tripod fix the curve?
No, they are for taking 360 degree pano photos as far as I know.
Please re-read the above quote by 'candypants'

So, what are you all waiting forI'm land locked or I'd be happy to. Will take a peek through my older collections again.
Sorry to quote this, but it has to be, from Kan
http://kan71000.wordpress.com/2010/05/17/kanchanaburi-beach/
Only extremely narrow-minded people would insist that beaches are on the coast. 100 km inland, Kanchanaburi boasts its own beach at Tha Makham, about 10km south of town. As the photos show, it has all the facilities normally associated with the better-know beaches. Thanks to Kan Win for the link.As I said all you need is water and sand to make a Beach, so no excuses now is there

This is a Jolly good Fred Theard. Thank you Moustache member. Your smelling could also be improved, try (mustache).
Now, back to the topic at hand
Backpackers Delights,
Banana Pancake, accompanied with a Leo Beer and the best thing in Thailand, Mossy Spray
The Spray is NOT to flavour the food nor the beer btw . It's for your legs whilst dining in outdoor places.

Hi Folks,
Yes, there are and it is very good to have them. Thank you very much Members
I do have a problem of posting the correct photo in the right topic, as one would wish not to repeat the same photo in all of the topics like these below:-
Clouds
Water Scenes
Street and Road Shots Anywhere In Thailand! (spelling corrected btw Mods, please could you also do the needful)
Panoramas Anyone?
and last, but not least
Fabianfred Hdr Photo Challenge
So my question is where should one post the photo below
Tourists who visit the Surat Thani area are stopping over on their way either to Koh Samui or to Phuket. If you are in this area one attraction is a must to see "The Rajjaprabha Dam" (also called Chieo Lan Dam). It is secluded and undiscovered by tourists.
The dam is located in the Khao Sok National Park, on Road 401 to Phuket off the main Route 41 going south.
or similar ones that I have taken as I am a Landscape Photographer

It is called HDR photography. One takes usually three bracketed shots at different settings and then combines them with software. Google HDR Photography for more.
Hi villagefarang,
Thank you very much and that is correct, as I took three bracketed shots at different settings and then used Photomatix Pro 3.0 in this photo.
