Israeli fans violently attacked after Amsterdam soccer match
pattayasan replied to Social Media's topic in World News
You were warned on page 1 of this topic that the video did not show Israelis being attacked but you declared the warning "rubbish". You denied that Maccabi fans started it. You said "Muslim mobs in Amsterdam are hunting Jews tonight. I wish this was fiction. It's not. " and then, after further insistence from the same poster: "There you go again. You made a claim and cant prove it, your lying" and then "Still waiting for the link to that claim and a link to her crediblity to identifying the nationalities of a savage mob attacking one or two people" and then "The name is not needed from him, its already on the Reuters vid in black and white........you lot & no she does not confirm that on this video and even if she did, did she actually speak to them and confirm that this fighting mob were Israeli? Because it shows a savage gang attacking Jews as described in the OP by Officials on the BBC website and Reuters" Now that you have the link will you now apologize? You could not have been more wrong. -
The 2017 Trump Tax Law Was Skewed to the Rich, Expensive, and Failed to Deliver on Its Promises Households with incomes in the top 1 percent will receive an average tax cut of more than $60,000 in 2025, compared to an average tax cut of less than $500 for households in the bottom 60 percent, according to the Tax Policy Center (TPC).[1] As a share of after-tax income, tax cuts at the top — for both households in the top 1 percent and the top 5 percent — are more than triple the total value of the tax cuts received for people with incomes in the bottom 60 percent. https://www.cbpp.org/research/federal-tax/the-2017-trump-tax-law-was-skewed-to-the-rich-expensive-and-failed-to-deliver

Hegseth defended service members accused of war crimes and in 2019, he urged Trump to pardon US service members who had been accused of war crimes. According to The Washington Post, Hegseth’s lobbying of Trump in 2019 resulted in the pardon of two service members who were accused of murder, and the reinstatement of rank of a third who was found guilty of posing with a body in Iraq. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2024/11/13/who-is-pete-hegseth-the-pro-israel-fox-news-host-picked-to-head-pentagon

Israeli fans violently attacked after Amsterdam soccer match

They likely did but the videos which originally purported to show that happening were actually the opposite. I notice the usual suspects have gone to ground. -
That's a deflection. Obviously you can't answer my question.

Donald Trump Has 'Obligations' to Those Who Brought Him to Power—Putin Ally Patrushev said: "To achieve success in the elections, Donald Trump relied on certain forces to which he has corresponding obligations. And as a responsible person, he will be obliged to fulfill them. https://www.newsweek.com/vladimir-putin-nikolai-patrushev-donald-trump-russia-1984360

How does being a TV anchor for 8 years qualify Hegseth for SecDef?

New York Times columnist and Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman said that voters who believed President-elect Donald Trump would do a better job of handling inflation than Vice President Kamala Harris are in for a "really rude shock." In a podcast published by the Times this week, Krugman outlined why Trump's proposed economic policies were likely to do the exact opposite of what voters believed they would be getting. And yet, Trump’s economic program, as far as we can tell, is the most inflationary program, probably, that any American president has ever tried to implement." https://www.rawstory.com/trump-inflation-really-rude-shock/

Biden started to drain the SPR because Trump made a deal with the Saudis to cut oil production. He later asked the Saudis to increase oil production after the Russians invaded Ukraine. They did not comply because of the close relationship between the Saudi leadership and former President Donald Trump. Note: Saudi Arabia’s decision to resist Biden’s request for increased oil production was influenced by a desire not to undermine Trump’s standing among U.S. energy interests or to appear aligned with a U.S. administration that had been openly critical of MBS. By resisting Biden’s requests, the Saudis may have aimed to preserve a favorable relationship with potential future administrations, including Trump or Trump-aligned figures.

Israelis in Thailand on Alert After Security Warning
pattayasan replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It must be. There's plenty of Israelis identifying as such while abroad. -
I did We are more at the mercy of OPEC than we have been in a few years. I don't think there's any question that Saudi Arabia, in particular, would rather deal with Republicans (especially with Donald Trump). So, in effect they are killing two birds with one stone. By restricting production, they are potentially hurting the Biden Administration by driving up oil prices.

Investors are pricing in policies of lower taxes and new trade tariffs under the incoming administration, measures seen as inflationary which could prompt the Federal Reserve to curb the extent of its easing of interest rates. https://www.reuters.com/markets/currencies/dollar-holds-firm-ahead-us-inflation-bitcoin-targets-fresh-highs-2024-11-13/
