Not sure I agree that life in the US is better. The healthcare system is broken, taxes are too high, the cost of living is even higher, crime is rampant, racism is everywhere, people are angry about everything, prison populations are out of control, homelessness keeps growing, poverty is rising, pharmaceutical costs are out of control, political divisions are worse than ever, and authoritarian tendencies are on the rise. It looks more like a republic in steep decline than any sort of model society.
