Normal for me is having people around who care about you, Who like you. Who love you. That way you aren't driven to accept things that are beneath you, as you already have love and care around. Why have a bad girlfriend when you can have a good friend? Nurture such relationships and you tend to have good friends and partners and a good balanced life. Those who base their lives on their girls being an '11' and no other criteria other than not being unwilling to have sex, are bound to come unstuck. The life you describe it totally unlike mine. We take care of each other. It's not one-sided in favour of the woman. But you need to know how to behave in the first place. Many here are only used to shooting fish in a barrel and have no hope of meeting normal women outside of the P4P scene.

Don't take things so personally. You need to understand from whence the other person is coming. Look at the reply from @ThreeCardMonte. He is so angry and incredulous that someone can have a normal life in Thailand without P4P. What does that tell you? Someone who has a good life would not write the things that he wrote. He is describing his own life, knowledge and experience. Someone like that may see your normal life as 'showing off'. Someone with a normal life is more likely to see it as normal, to cheer you on or even a bit of friendly rivalry. So don't get upset by other people's envy/jealousy. Accept it as a compliment, that you have reached a stage that some see as unbelievable. Of course you would be happy to return to Thailand, to stay in a luxury riverside apartment, to relax with food and drink at a pristine beach. Completely normal to want to share your joy. But there are some who are unhappy and who want to share their misery. We see it here every day. That's their problem, not yours. You don't have to hide away because some miserable person objects to you sharing your happiness. Just take it as normal banter. A bit of pushing and shoving. Be robust. Stay fluid. There will always be challenges. It's how you deal with them that makes the difference. In truth, we all help each other by describing our real lives. Even the crazy ranters tell us about their state of mind.

May I ask...are your words from your own experience or a figment of your imagination? You seem to be telling us that you do not believe that anyone can have normal relationships in Thailand and that the only option is to do some dirty business on a street known for illicit trysts. Those are your words. My words describe a life somewhat different from that. So shall we assume that you were describing your own life? It's quite sad that you cannot even imagine a better life. Perhaps you weren't and aren't a good person and don't deserve anything better.

My perspective.... being isolated due to COVID-19 pushed me to engage with people online, to keep a handle on what was going on with others. Honestly shocked at the kind of people and the ways of thinking out there. Genuinely. Truly reprehensible characters. Despicable people. They don't exist in my real world because I'm good to everyone and they are good to me. Seeing what is posted here was and is alarming. I certainly would not fraternise with such animals in real life.
